[DRAFT 1] Global Tax Regulation Service Act

Postby Smartatic » Sun Oct 10, 2021 2:13 pm

Hope you like my draft!
Dear World Assembly,
Realizing that several nations unfairly tax their people, by making it to high

Understanding that these unjust taxes can make people poorer and hurt business

Also understanding that low taxes can be a problem

Realizing that low taxes can cripple a Nations' GDP and contribution to society

Determined to help citizens and nations from low and high taxes

The delegation of Smartatic proposed a Global Tax Regulation Service, which would

A) Determine if a Nation shall Raise or Lower their taxes

The Global Tax Regulation Service shall determine this by taking account of

B) Public Approval

C) GDP for Capita

The Global Tax Regulation Service shall be composed of 20 Tested Economic Experts from around the globe

The Global Tax Regulation Service shall work with a nation's treasury department to help the nation raise or lower their taxes

The Global Tax Regulation Service shall vote if they should raise or lower their taxes, anything above 10 votes shall be passed

If a nation refused to comply to a raise or lowering of taxes then the Global Tax Regulation Service shall issue a official condemnation for being against Human Rights

Believing that the Global Tax Regulation Service will help Society develop

The Delegation of Smartatic proposes the Global Tax Regulation Service Act

Please don't be that harsh, but suggestions would be wonderful

Hope you lie my draft? Okay...

Also, taxation is a national issue and a global agency to regulate taxation is not a good idea.
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

GA 17 "WA General Fund" reserves to each member nation all powers over domestic taxation, discriminatory tax practices excepted. Specifically, it:

Affirms the right of member nations to maintain full authority over domestic taxation policies, barring those that may include unfair discriminatory practices;

It is Important to help a Nation if they have a national issue.

You're not getting it. Taxation is a national issue. Have you not read IA's feedback after my post?

OOC: Everyone loves people who point out spelling errors on the internet.

@ Smartatic. The idea is a non runner because there’s existing legislation, as outlined by IA which states that the WA cannot interfere with domestic taxation. Also the committee rule says that proposals cannot say who staffs committees, the canon is that the WA gnomes make up membership of committees. There’s also the branding rule which states that the author’s name cannot be in the proposal text.
