Factory Farming ban didn't pass but this may be the way

Postby Texkentuck » Thu Aug 05, 2021 12:13 am

Next Proposal there must not be misinterpretation- The last proposal and we the nation of Texkentuck should of been more opinionated in why not just list specifics such as a ban on portholes on the side of cows. Why not have specific regulations that keep livestock safe. The non-passed good intentioned proposal looked like a vast ban on livestock in general and had liberal language I didn't understand..... There were wide misinterpretations and believe that wasn't the intention. The intention is to keep animals from horrible practices of factory farming.....

I congratulate the nation of "Greater Cesnica" and hope they take what I put forward into consideration.....

List to ban Portholes on cows
Technically Portholes don't seem to bother the cow but it is gnarly...

Most of all I think that Zilmax used on cattle should be banned. I think that should be added in the next proposal if we are to look after the well being of cattle. Citizens of Texkentuck like natural meat with taste....

Also add in a ban for the following practices-
Stunning knives – along with captive-bolt guns and electric baths, stunning knives are also used to stun animals.
Electric bath – a tub of water with an electric current flowing through it that is designed to stun poultry prior to slaughter. The birds are shackled upside down and placed in the electric bath. While the animals should be rendered unconscious, the bath system is not foolproof; and many birds are fully conscious throughout the remainder of the slaughter process.
Killing stick – a device used in the slaughtering process to cut the carotid arteries and jugular veins of animals once they have been stunned.
Captive bolt gun – a device used to render large farmed animals, such as cattle and pigs, unconscious by shooting a metal bolt or rod through the animal’s head and into the brain. Unfortunately, the accuracy rate of captive-bolt stuns is not 100 percent.

Next have basic protections for a horse such as prohibiting horses subjected to the cruel practice of soaring from participating in shows, sales, exhibitions, and auctions. Soaring involves the use of chemicals, inhumane hoof trimmings, and other methods meant to force the horse to raise his or her legs high while performing a running walk...

For more on humane care-

A: make sure pigs have a wide stable with pleanty of mud and shade
B: Dogs must have easy access to an air-conditioned facility or a heated facility. Farm dogs must meet the standards of receiving regular
medical care and must have proper vaccines.
C: A horse must have proper medical care and a stable in which the horse is cared for and in the case of an emergency the horse must have
access to air conditioned or heated facility.
D: All WA nations may get pork from non-wa nations but in the realization of their being other types of meat Ban Pork and take the pig off
the list of farm animals. Pigs may be sold as pork upon natural death.
E: All farms with barns must be fitted with a fire sprinkler system and cameras.
F:Chickens must be on a steady diet and no chicken must be in major distress by overcrowding or any type of situaition that causes a
chickens to run franticly in daily farming operations.
G: Nations of high ratings in following the rules of the WA Farm proposal will receive an incentive to opt out of one WA proposal...
H: Governments must give an incentive to farmers who have good farm ratings according to the World Assembly.

If I see a proposal such as this and it passes with incentives I've listed my nation will rejoin the World Assembly.

G: Nations of high ratings in following the rules of the WA Farm proposal will receive an incentive to opt out of one WA proposal...
H: Governments must give an incentive to farmers who have good farm ratings according to the World Assembly.

I think the points made make a logical approach to stop Factory Farming. But make sure farming is still in affect and we all are surviving and farmers are doing well... My nation has other meat and can give up pork to take pigs off the list of farm animals of WA Nations. WA Nations can go to non-WA nations for pork anyway......

Why do you think that an alleged ban on livestock can be improved by tacking a definite ban on pork, bacon and gammon onto it?

Tinhampton that was a good question!

I don't mind about that half of it just thinking about the cute pigs as pets....I'm more concerned about the following..... Anyways if nations want pork they can go to Non-WA nations for pork....Helping the WA live up to it's moral code of Factory Farming.... Below in the box is what will keep animals from harm but farming will still exist......

Stunning knives – along with captive-bolt guns and electric baths, stunning knives are also used to stun animals.

Tinhampton, is there anything you suggest that will make the proposal more appealing for it to pass? With your knowledge and drafting this proposal will be the Kats Meow!!

Make it in which their isn't confusion and we can submit it to Greater Cesnica for review and hope it's voted for again and written with no way the it may be misinterpreted by the WA. With our help we can get them to pass a proposal the majority will understand and hopefully vote yes for it's passage and Greater Cesnica gets the credit..... We need to have farms and we need animals protected.....

Thank you Tinhampton !!

Yeah this doesn't seem to be working right now, but keep trying. It'd be interesting to see what you can make of this.

No plan. Just some random ranting.
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.
