GenSec aren't mods. They don't have mod powers. Their only role is to enforce the proposal ruleset by marking proposals legal or illegal. They cannot warn you, they cannot ban you, they cannot delete you. They have zero forum power outside of their expertise as players and a manly pink name.

OOC: Well, that does fall under the initial fear mentioned. That the GenSecs are using their power over proposals to promote a certain ideological narrative. Regardless, it isn't really important anymore. Whilst I will continue to lurk the forums, I don't think the WA is for me.

Not an OOC post but that doesn't exist but this isn't coming from my walrus ambassador or whatever: you're basing your rant off of other places? It's not even your anecdote, and you're still using it as your logical argument.

This proposal isn't legal because it simply does not comply with current proposals. The title also has nothing to do with the contents of the proposal.

Maria vyn Nysen sighs theatrically. "Such a sorry day... you know what? Jymes? Jymes! Can you come over for a second?" the Daarwyrthian Representative calls to one of her aides.

Vyn Nysen clapped her hands once. "Marvelous. If you could, please bring the former Ambassador of Figu one box will you."

The aide nodded curtly and departed, as Vyn Nysen kept watching the ex-ambassador-effective-immediately with a pleasant smile. A few minutes later Jymes returned with a box that contained a rainbow coloured cake with the text "sorry to see you leave" on it with, with a sad-faced emoticon below it, and pressed the box into the ex-Ambassadors hands.

"We will remember you fondly," declares Vyn Nysen solemnly, as Jymes comes to stand next to her, folding his hands in front of him.

If you make a proposal legal, then yes, it will be legal. Personally, I'm not too sure about this proposal as it stands, even with the illegal stuff out of the way, so. Given permission, you can of course try. Probably, I'm not GenSec.

If you want to draft a new proposal that is legal, start a new thread.

If you want to allege that site staff has acted improperly, use the Getting Help page.

If you want to advocate for site mechanics or rules changes, use the Technical or Moderation forums. (You can use the GA forum for advocating changes to the GA resolution rules in particular.)

Per the rules: "If a player wishes to submit another's proposal, explicit permission must be obtained and submitted either through the Getting Help page or Moderation so we have a paper trail. If not, the offender is ejected and the proposal is deleted."
