Request to Restart the World Assembly
A resolution to leave blank the pages of international law
Category: Political Stability
Strength: SweepingProposed by: Meretica
Recognizing the many accomplishments of the World Assembly;
Believing that the World Assembly ought to be restarted so as to allow flow for greater creativity and increased participation in inter-universal affairs;
Noting that the World Assembly has been the functional international government for more than a decade;
Applauding efforts by users to work towards creating a more perfect version of international law;
Troubled by the lack of new, fresh issues for member nations to debate;
Hereby:
- 1. Motions that the World Assembly's many resolutions be archived;
2. Asks that the pages of international law be declared empty;
3. Moves for the creation of a new set of international laws.
Black returns to his seat and awaits any and all replies.
Edit:
OOC: The WA is old and full of hundreds of resolutions. Many nations decline to vote/participate in the WA given that most everything has been legislated and approved upon by the majority. The few "major" issues that are still debated by member nations have had legislation passed in recent months just because they are controversial to begin with. Furthermore, many recent pieces of legislation have covered minute details and have been largely boring and uninteresting.
