The Safe Nuclear Waste Act (SNWD Act) is an act based upon the safe disposal of nuclear waste. While many different views can be taken of the required safety of anything, there is always a downside of ignoring safety. As such the SNWD Act is a proposed act to help with the regulation of the disposal of nuclear waste. As such a list of hypothetical rules has been created.
Nuclear Recycling and Disposal
I. Recycling nuclear waste allows for a decrease in refineries usages which decreases the total amount of waste. Uranium And Thorium are to be re-extracted and refined allowing for more usage of waste. If it is impossible to refine nuclear waste please read 1II.
II. If it is impossible to recycle nuclear waste then, nuclear waste is to be stored inside of a lead room with constant cooling water. Levels of external radiations are not to exceed 1 000 µSv if such a dose is measured it falls under management to reduce the levels or be punished with fines or prison time for endangerment of the public.
III. At no point is contaminated disposal water to come in contact with drinking water, regardless of the radioactivity of the water itself. Any attempt to combine the two is to be seen as endangerment of the public.
Fines For Dosage Exposure
100mSv - 1,000 Dollar Fine (Or equal value for foreign currency)
350mSv - 15,000 Dollar Fine (Or equal value for foreign currency)
400mSv - 24,500 Dollar Fine (Or equal value for foreign currency)
1,000mSv - 95,000 Dollar Fine (Or equal value for foreign currency)
1,001mSv - 95,000 + 650 per mSv Dollar Fine (Or equal value for foreign currency).
