General Assembly Resolution #519 the "Provisional Rule In Wartime" Shall Be Repealed

Realizing that all countries have a right to control their own lands, without the interference of separate nations

Believing that no country should have the ability to set up their own spheres of influence inside a nation that should be free to control themselves

Understanding that military occupation does not reduce violence, but in fact increases it

Noting that this can create for the exploitation of countries

Accepting that not letting nations influence themselves is immoral

Hereby repeals GAR #519 the "Provisional Rule in Wartime"

Regrettably, a repeal proposal that is hinged on national sovereignty is illegal. Given that the primary function of the General Assembly is to limit the independent agency of nations in favour of universal legal norms, it's not permissible to just say "the point of the institution is wrong" as the basis of a repeal. You can have that ideology if you wish, of course. The solution in that case is to resign from the World Assembly so that the IC provisions are no longer required of you.

If you wish to legally repeal target from active GA law, however, you will need to come up with arguments about why it's a bad idea or what harm it causes to things other than national sovereignty.

If nation A and B are at war, nation B's territory is occupied by A, that occupied territory is either going to be governed by A or left to anarchy. Under no circumstances is a nation going let the enemy control an occupied territory immediately after conquering it. That's not how wars work."
