Postby Kingsithan » Tue Mar 02, 2021 11:00 pm

I believe this draft would be illegal in its current state, as the only thing it does (i.e. more than encouraging or recommending) is the creation of a committee.

"Ambassador, did you pull these statistics out of your ass?"
OOC: Don't use real world number in NS. You can make a general statement though.
implementation of social norms which support a positive culture of parenting and child protection:

"How does one go about "implementing" social norms? Aren't they supposed to be unwritten rules? Policies and legislation are implemented."
Recognizing programs such as Together for Girls and the Substance Abuse Prevention Alliance, a Global Coalition to End Violence against Children;

OOC: I'm not sure if this could a case of rl reference violation.
If the ambassador acts like an ambassador, it's probably Delegate Arthur.
If he acts like an edgy teen, it's probably definitely Delegate Jim.... it's always Jim

OOC: Definitely is a rl reference violation with Together for Girls.

This doesn't appear to actually *do* anything. There are a lot of words like "promoting", "proposes", "encouraging", "recommends", but in terms of actually doing something...it doesn't seem to quite get there.

Why didn't you draft it here some more? A day is nowhere near enough drafting time. And the submitted draft still contains the errors that people have pointed out to you.

I know I should not be the one to tell you this, but don't rush it. This usually takes a while

OOC: Encourages and recommends are valid operative clauses. The problem here is that they are not strong. Also, the civil rights category is supposed to increase civil freedoms from government interference. This also does not do that. I have marked it illegal in the queue on these grounds.

Ah I see, my apologies for the mistake.
