FT nation controlling several solar systems with genetic editing to the ower of gods, massive military, an interventionist power, a capitalist economy, and a parliamentary democracy/constitutional monarchy

Pro: Ecologism, libertarianism, barebones gun control, single-payer universal healthcare, the Australian system for student loans, representative democracy, constitutional monarchy, ranked voting, metro, linear tax rate, LGBTQ rights, freedom of expression and religion, renewable energy, big businesses, small businesses, .
Anti: Communism, socialism, syndicalism, UBI, cars, busses, "progressive" taxes, over-the-top SJWs, technocracy, dictatorships, direct democracy, winner takes all, theocracy, creationists, religious fanaticism, the democratic party, the CCP, monopolies.

OOC: What, exactly, is this regulating?

OOC: Asteroid mining

OOC: So, the committee exists only to enforce the resolution, and to settle disputes. That itself doesn't regulate anything. Clause 1 is definitions, which doesn't regulate anything. Clause 3a allows member states to do what they please with resources from asteroids. That's not regulating anything. Clause 3b allows member states to regulate asteroid mining themselves, which they already could, therefore not regulating anything. So, I ask again, what exactly does this regulate

OOC: You do have a very good point, I think I'll do some serious re-structuring.

Changed it to be more like GAR #10 "Nuclear Arms Possession Act"

Now the proposal doesn't do anything at all. Member nations had the right to mine asteroids and the right to regulate their mining. Your proposal needs to do more than block future legislation.

And, in case you were wondering what GA#10 did other than blockers, it requires member states to protect their nuclear arms from falling into the wrong hands.
