And since when was forcing others to see your private parts a freedom? You, I suppose, believe that hate speech is not free speech, and at the same time we believe that restricting ones clothing is essentially the same.

Not surprised that it is failing at vote. I'm mostly confused by its provisions and think it's not an international issue anyway.

What does that have to do with anything?

This issue is bigger than it seems: voting for it would mean we can no longer mandate that clothing must be manufactured without the usual sweatshop-processes and worker exploitation, never mind the styles involved.

Honestly this is to vague in our opinion. Plus lets not mention the fact that this can be used against civil liberties. Although in principle we support this. We can not support this under the basis its too vague and may backfire.

While this is well intentioned it has no enforceability.

I’ll put support in favor of a redrafted proposal that actually protects people from harmful clothing conditions (I.e forced high heels in workplaces for female workers)

Since some (may) have denied in recent days that "archaic policies on clothing" are a major issue, I will note that they have been covered in great deal by the BBC - arguably the world's best-known and most trusted news outlet - alone. (I exclude here features published by other newspapers and broadcasters, and any pieces of legislation, rules, etc. that have been drafted or proposed to deal with this issue.) This can be easily demonstrated with reference to Categories A, B and C below.
Category A: In the spoiler entitled "Category A" below is an incomplete list of nine BBC News articles concerning Nicola Thorp's expulsion from a PwC office, her parliamentary petition and its fallout:

Category B: In the spoiler entitled "Category B" below is an incomplete list of seven BBC News articles about sexist dress codes in contexts other than Thorp's - in each of these cases outside the BBC's home country of the United Kingdom (namely France, the Canadian province of British Columbia, and Japan).

Category C: In August 2016, Indian culture minister Mahesh Sharma issued his infamous advice for female tourists visiting India not to wear skirts. The BBC's two articles about that statement from that month are India minister tells foreign tourists: 'Don't wear skirts' and Tips for Indian politicians who tell women what to wear.

These lists was not compiled for crude, rude, lewd, or otherwise gratuitous purposes, but to remind everybody reading this that "companies forbidding their female employees from wearing flat shoes or trousers" has received the attention of international media outlets (as in Categories B and C) as well as of policymakers (as in Category A).

"Freedom of dress" is (or rather was) dedicated to Nicola Thorp, Yumi Ishikawa, and all other women who have had been ordered to wear particular items of clothing simply for being women.

OOC: Then maybe you should have targeted clothing equality instead of full nudity. I honestly don't get your thought process from "I want to ban requiring women to wear high heels and skirt at work" to "I want to ban clothing". Allowing the woman-discriminating workplaces to ban clothing sounds like pro-female-worker-harassment to me!
