THE WORLD ASSEMBLY:
OBSERVING that "Stock Exchanges and Foreign Investment" was intended to allow for free trade and foreign investment; but
REALISING that clause 2 of "Stock Exchanges and Foreign Investment" is useless, as it is only a recommendation and not a mandate, and that barring potentially problematic entities from stock exchanges is in fact common sense;
FURTHER REALISING that clause 3 of "Stock Exchanges and Foreign Investment" is also useless, as it simply establishes a guide that can be easily ignored by governments, preventing securities from being adequately protected;
FRIGHTENED that clause 4 of "Stock Exchanges and Foreign Investment" empowers the ISEC to employ regulations it may want on exchanges, including extremely onerous and arbitrary restrictions, actually limiting free trade rather than protecting it;
DISMAYED that such a problematic resolution was passed by this body, and believing that ineffective legislation should be repealed;
HEREBY REPEALS GA#401 "Stock Exchanges and Foreign Investment".
