[DRAFT]: Educational Standards Act

Honorable Representatives,
NOTING that the World Assembly has very little/no educational resolutions,
FURTHER NOTING that the lack thereof has led to lack luster education of the citizens of member nations,
APPALLED that this issue has not been adequately addressed,
HEREBY declares the following:

Section I: Rights and Responsibilities of Educators
I: Educators should be properly trained to accomplish their tasks, with a minimum of a bachelors degree for primary and secondary school educators, and a minimum of a masters or doctorate degree for college/university educators.
II: Upon completion of their degree program, education candidates shall be tested to procure a license to teach. These tests shall review the candidates knowledge of educational protocols in addition to testing knowledge in the candidates field of choice.
III: Educators will have the right to seek fair wage, consistent with the laws of their nation and the laws of the World Assembly.
IV: Educators will have the right to fair working hours, consistent with the laws of their nation and the laws of the World Assembly.
V: Educators will have the right to unionize, consistent with the laws of their nation and the laws of the World Assembly.
VI: Educators will have the right to leave, workmen compensation, vacations, and other benefits consistent with the laws of their nation and the laws of the World Assembly.

Section II: Rights and Responsibilities of Learners
I: Learners have the right to pursue a fair and high quality education.
II: Learners have the right to education presented in the best manner for each learner, whether it be traditional in person schooling, online schooling, or home schooling.
III: Learners have the right to make educational decisions concerning themselves to enable the highest quality of education for themselves.
IV: Learners have the right to seek asylum abroad if their right to education is being infringed within their own nation.
V: Learners have the responsibility to educate themselves to become enriched, thoughtful, and insightful citizens.

OOC: And there are MANY educational resolutions. They can be easily searched in a thread on this forum.

Much of this is duplication, the rest is 1st world-centric unnecessary micromanagement.
