It's purely a nonexistent role. No one is obliged to recognize Kuriko, even as a mere figurehead.

@SP: wasn't there a Secretariat of some sort appointed to enforce the rules?

We do have 5 moderator appointed nations (collectively referred to as the GA Secretariat) that are responsible for making sure illegal resolutions don’t get passed. They are listed at https://www.nationstates.net/page=gensec. That’s the closest thing to a head.

I've noticed BA has been ceased for a little while now; is there a need to replace him?

Besides, everyone knows that Murray the Evil Skull is the True Leader of the Festering Snakepit. Nobody else comes close to the pure malignant, malicious, and capricious evil needed to run the Festering Snakepit.

Their absence is due to unfortunate circumstances involving the current pandemic, so they’ll be back as soon as possible.
