Rip thanks, would you suggest then repealing and creating a new proposal Seperate or repeal + replacement?
Kravonija wrote:Hello,
I’ve never done one of these and thought I would try, so feel free to rip me or this proposal to shreds. This is an amendment to a Resolution establishing the World Health Authority in 2009 and I wish to update some of the terminology, specifically remove decent health standards to universal health standards to create a more uniform health system that can meet the needs of anyone especially in cases where foreigners are injuries abroad. So things like blood types, medication, terminology, etc would be the same regardless of the nation or region you are in. Also added some goals to the WHA to meetAmendment to GAR # 31
Proposing Nation: Republic of Kravonija
The World Assembly,
Acknowledging the importance of establishing the World Health Authority (“WHA”) and it’s mission to bring decent health standards, coordination and preparedness to combat threats to health as outlined in GAR#31.
Concerned by the execution, management, and terminology of WHA and it’s mission, thus;
Removing section I knowing it is encouraged in section V.
Replacing “decent health standards” to “universal health standards” and further defining “universal health standards” as standards accepted by the health community without deviation from one health agency to another.
Understanding that establishing universal health standards improve quality and establishes the minimum continuity of care of individuals from various nations and regions.
Amending section III establishing WHA, with the missions to include:
- Establish universal health standards to be followed in WA member states.
- Train or assist with the training of health professionals.
- Assist regions and nations during their transition to improve health services.
- Improve and establish access to essential medicines and health product.
- Support delivery of essential health services, medicines and health products in emergencies.
- Support in the pursuit of elimination and eradication of high-impact diseases and virus.
Defining “emergencies” as times of military or civil conflict, and major threats to health.
