The general assembly proposal revision is cheating i suppose

Postby Blueflarst » Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:34 pm

I sent yesterday two resolutions
My first one

ACKNOWLEDGING the world assembly is great but have a lot of laws which are cause of disturbs and intrigue beetwen it is members SEEING disturbing division and inefficiency inside the world assembly obstacled by a lot of interested nations in and out of the assembly something to be removed
CONCERNED about the relevant fact of a each day less nations remaining inside
ENCOURAGING to renovate the world assembly in other way less conflictive as a new HRE with voluntary membership BECOMING each state leader no matter if monarchy or republic or other type a prince/princess of the new HRE
ALLOWING free entry and exit of princes to the HRE max one nation as before PROPOSING that the delegates are changed to electors for electing one emperor each month AWARDING some prices to the volunters to become HRE emperor
PUTTING in a system to change a international law without the repeal
PUTTING IN an elective monarchy as form of HRE governement
MAINTAINING the before international laws but permitting the emperors to change it
AWARDING each emperor/empress the legislative power of the HRE to make and reject laws more kick without a heavy debate eachtime SECURING the imperial nations independence and security doing an imperial army with some princes commanding it
HORRIFIED that the actual assembly has gone in a intrigue system with a lot of changes corruption and no gain for the members worst than the papal curia in medieval time
CONCERNED that the emperor/empress will not dictate the type of governement of the princes and neither his policies excepting some changes by international law as before but less harassing
APPLYING CUO REGNO CUO RELIGIO policy to each prince/princess will be allowed to dictate the national religion of his/her country FORBIDDING the emperors/empresses to do laws without profit to the new HRE for preventing corruption ones like especial taxes
HEREBY PROCLAIMS THE RENOVATIO IMPERI

It was discarded cause they said it modifies the game mechanics i revised the rules and it do not especify that changing world assembly form is changing game mechanics

My second one

General Assembly Resolution #6 “Humanitarian Transport” (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

ACKNOWLEDGING that this resolution dictate a nation how to care about war prisioners

CONCERNED that there is no international territory cause that territory do not belong to noone for that the point of making laws in it is useless

DEEPLY DISTURBED for the international intervention in war affairs saying how to manage prisioners and putting restrictions

OBSERVING that maintaining laws on no nation area is costly and do not guarantee the enforcement cause the large extension of oceans and seas

DECLARING that the nations do not have to ensure nothing to refugees for international order the refugee catcher is the only responsible

CONSIDERING this resolution entering in conflict with national affairs of nations in war

SAYING that is a form of international opression over minor nations

HEREBY REPEAL Humanitarian transport

It is declared illegal 26 minutes ago: Christian Democrats: Illegal — Language Rule: "Proposals must use understandable English."
I sent a message asking why and saying that is good written on english and he do not say

OOC: Follow the rules and you won't get your proposals removed. Simple.

As a native English speaker, I'm gonna tell you a hard truth: Your written English is not very good. I barely understand what you're getting at in your drafts. I can figure it out after editing it in my head, but that isn't really a good standard.

Rather than biting people's heads off by being egocentric, encourage him. Tell him that he's made a good starting effort but needs to revise it a bit to ensure it makes grammatical sense. As a Spanish speaker (albeit as a second language) I quite understand the intricacies of English grammar - there are aspects of English grammar that don't exist in Spanish (and vice versa). I should say that the proposals make sense to me

I don't think I was in the wrong. You do. Such impasse. Many disagree. What ever shall we do?

You post with your preferred tone. I'll post mine. Neither of us will interfere with the other. Solution.

You'd lose the ability to vote, and you'd stop having stats effects from passed resolutions. Otherwise, nothing technical. You can roleplay a bunch of effects.

Is there an OOC obligation to follow WA law or could you have as part of the role play a dishonest or misguided president not following it without breaking NS rules?

You're asking if there's an OOC requirement, but your question is an IC question. OOC you follow the law. IC you roleplay as you like. Nobody is going to swoop down on you and eject you from the WA if you roleplay noncompliance. Your fellow players might give you a hard time, but you're not "breaking NS rules". If you're a WA member, you physically can't change your ability to get stat changes from passed WA resolutions.

There exist several resolutions protecting civilians from military actions, and from genocide.

Adding to that that it's not against any hard-set rules, but it would be nice if IC noncompliance flaunting could be done on another subforum and not GA. Even veteran players and resolution authors get called out for outright noncompliance. Creative compliance - following the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law - is another matter entirely...

Every resolution with corruption mentioned somewhere in it. (The only relevant one looks to be the one at the top of the search)

This is getting old, Azad. We're not going to answer questions about every single possible topic. You have eyes and a web browser. Look it up.
