Also, would you mind explaining the difference between your proposal and the already-passed Epidemic Response Act? What I see so far is if a nation doesn't do enough, you're just going to make it worse and completely collapse their country with economic sanctions. Sounds like a great plan

We've had resolutions about whales, we can have a proposal about coronavuruses, as long as 'proper nouns' (i.e. specific names) are avoided: They'd fall under one or the other of the 'everyday English' and 'normal scientific terms' exemptions.
Having said which, using the term "Covid" rather than "coronavirus" probably is over the limit.

(OOC: It doesn’t matter which diseases you are addressing if your responses are the same as existing ones. I suggest looking at all the mandates within existing legislation, and within your proposal, and removing almost all, of not all, of the duplicate requirements. A few can stay if the proposal wouldn’t make sense without them, since mild duplication is acceptable, but this should be a last resort.)

OOC: Though I in no way encourage this proposal, because I think it's not necessary given already existing resolutions, rather than referring to coronaviruses in any way (since they're named that in RL but might not be elsewhere), the author should think of going for SARS instead, because the current novel coronavirus epidemia is SARS-2 (SARS-1 never became a pandemia, see Wikipedia for more details). SARS is shorthand for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, which would be generic enough term to describe a medical condition/disease to not trigger the RL reference rule.

EDIT: Calling it "SARS-2" likely would be RL reference, but "Viral Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome" (VSARS) would likely be enough of a reference without triggering the rule.

Otherwise similar arguments could be raised about using just about any term that's used in RL...
