Has anyone completed the replacement of protections for war correspondents? I noted it on the idea board.

Has there been anything regulating WA work environments (such as for the dozens of existing committees and the headquarters)?

i.e. WA facilities building code, fire safety, prohibited items in WA facilities, etc.

And would it be feasible to try and legislate something like that?

Probably not. Legislation has to apply to member nations, not to the WA itself. You might be able to get away with it contained within some more general legislation, but what would be the point? Even allowing for the proliferation of WA committees they're a drop in the ocean of workplaces in WA member nations.

Having been directed by a newer player to the OP, which currently lists some proposals which have already been done etc, perhaps it needs updating?

If he hooked the account up with an email (isn't that required these days?), he can reset the pass?

Otherwise, need to petition to moderation to either change thread ownership or edit the OP. Dunno if either is very likely...

Was there a proposal that opposed anti-consumerist business practices? Something like “Right to Repair” IRL? Is such a proposal needed? I mean, anti-consumerism surely is not a good thing...

Proposal yes, don't think it passed into a resolution. And IMO it's not necessary. Few nations (like, maybe some insane ultra-pro-consumerism ones only) would forbid you to have your items repaired.

Also, it is anti-consumerist to require right to repair, because if you repair it, you don't consume (buy a new one).

Well, I know that taking IRL nations is a bad game, but is California “ultra-pro-consumerist”? Because one of the county’s did outlaw car repairs... https://driving.ca/auto-news/news/count ... ar-at-home
Also, there are reasons why IRL “Right to Repair” organization exist. While this may not seem like a problem, if you dig into the question, you understand the severity of the case.

It's part of the USA, so, yes. :P

Only at home. Which is sensible given cars tend to contain environmentally hazardous fluids.

Look up the previous attempt - if it never went to vote, then it's still on this forum, if it did and didn't pass, then it's in the WA Archives forum - and see the issues that kept coming up. If you want to write a proposal on the topic, you'll benefit from the feedback given on the previous attempt.

Has there ever been a resolution on government gazettes?
Pro: Direct democracy, e-democracy, parliamentary sovereignty, state secularism, non-violent direct action (striking), police reform, syndicalism, democratic workplace management
Anti: Most types of representative democracy, ultra-nationalism, imperialism, autocratic workplace management, the state

Do you mean state-owned or state-run media? Official news outlets? Or something more like press releases given out to more independent media organizations?

Neither one rings a bell. You can search the passed resolutions thread (see "Extant Resolutions" link in my signature below) to be sure.

It's a government publication in which they publish forthcoming laws to provide public notice. I searched through the resolutions with a couple keywords but I didn't immediately find anything about providing public notice for laws.

Ah. No Penalty Without Law and Ban on Secret Treaties both require government publication of relevant texts. I don't know of any others off the top of my head.

Is there a resolution that regulates nationwide referendums? I know that there is one that ensures safe and non-rigged elections(GAR #130), but still does it’s power extends to referendums?

You can find out. Here's a good place to start: search.php?keywords=genetic&t=30&sf=msgonly

Just keep in mind that "genetics" is not included in the PHPBB search function's returns for "genetic."

The annoying thing is you have this kind of search which is overly annoying... then you have Discord's search which says "populares" = "popular" = "population".
