shuting down gen sec

Postby Blueflarst » Sun Feb 17, 2019 5:37 am

As falmards said Gen sec is a corrupt organization.
But i see different reasoning.
The moderators which are not impartial put the gen sec comissars as the moderators are not pure people but instead corrupted ones which want their ideologies ruling the General Assembly, their subjects of the gen sec as loyal servants do the same the community is tired of seeing this and blocking the thread of falmards did not nothing good for the forum.
The moderators suppose if people is not able to post nothing will turn againist them but ironically supresing public opposition is the best form of asking a revolt

Not really, the Gen Sec “Commisars” are people who only check for rule violations and whatever needs to be fixed in the Resolution. I think that you are talking about the WA Elite, which doesn’t really matter. Most proposals don’t even lean on supporting another ideology too explicitly. Sure maybe GAR#457 (please correct if wrong) is ideologically left-leaning, but that is just a tiny section of the GA. About SC,..... that’s a different-ish matter.

Also, Max Berry.

A friendly reminder from your supermarket to buy Maxberries! Good for the nation in general! The legislative systems of your brain, the executive branch of your digestive tract and the judiciary of your cardiac muscles will surely enjoy this treat. Make sure to buy these at your nearest stores now

Hi Bluefarst.

I recommend you read two posts. The first is Reppy's post here, which I'll quote in full for you.

Reploid Productions wrote:GenSec are a nonpolitical group vetted and appointed by moderation to enforce the General Assembly's proposal rules. They are not going anywhere.

If you have valid complaints that GenSec members are abusing their position, please file them via the Getting Help page. Be sure to include all relevant links to what you are reporting as well as a clear and concise explanation of what the problem is. I must inform you that moderation has very little patience for frivolous or outright fraudulent reports, and are liable to dismiss incomplete, unspecific, or wildly generalized complaints outright. (IE: "The GenSec is corrupt!" absent any evidence attached to the report.)

EDIT TO ADD: And no, "They ruled that my proposals that were blatantly in violation of the GA proposal rules were illegal!" is not a valid complaint. The GA has one of the steepest learning curves in the game. If you want to draft proposals, it is well advised that you spend some time reading and participating in this section of the forums to get a feel for how things work.

I know you've probably already read it, but it's worth re-reading so that you fully understand why this thread is unnecessary.

The second post is this one, which I feel expresses the opinions of the userbase at large with regards to your post.
