The General Assembly,
Recognizing the vitality of preservation of local and regional artistic and musical heritage;
Emphasizing the fostering of regional and international cooperation through music and song;
Calling into consideration the highly-successful Eurovision Song Contest and the impact it has had on world politics;
Hence forth,
Proposes the Internationstates Song Contest, with nation states choosing to participate by sending a song that represents their nation, and voting on an international winner;
States that such an event would be held four times a year, once per season;
Further states that any member state of the World Assembly may participate;
Decides this project will be conducted under the jurisdiction of any interested nation state willing to organize and moderate such an event;
Declares that the rules and regulations of such an event would have to be published well-in advance in order to ensure fairness and transparency;
Hereby establishes the Internationstates Song Contest;
