ACKNOWLEDGING that Slavery is an immoral and outdated practice

KNOWING that there are nations who practice slavery

POINTING OUT that there are plenty of other labor options outside of slavery

REQUESTING that the General Assembly acknowledges that this practice should be illegal, for the sake of the worker, their family, or/and anyone involved

Absolutely, it shows a greater awareness than most people who just spam the queue with doomed proposals. As Jebslund suggests, it is always good to consult the Passed Resolutions Thread to see if a proposal idea has already been passed into law, or if a contradictory law exists that would necessitate repeal.
