[ABANDONED] Repeal Reproductive Freedoms

Repeal Reproductive Freedoms

The General Assembly,

Sees that Clause 2 under Reproductive Freedoms excludes moral reasons for an WA member nation to oppose reproductive freedoms,

Recognizes that by allowing member nations to terminate pregnancies through safe, accessible procedures fails to recognize and takes into account the life of the unborn which is as valuable as any other person,

Sees that an unborn should not be discriminated against as the unborn has not yet developed the ability to think and voice its opposition to being ended its life,

Believes that the value of an individual is too valuable based on the fact that every individual is predestined on his or her journey, that many decisions and moments are thus irreversible whether or not he or she knows it consciously,

Hereby repeals reproductive freedoms

No thanks.
While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

“There is an extremely low chance of anything that aims to repeal ‘Reproductive Freedoms’ or ‘On Abortion’. The two resolutions are too well-liked for the general populace to every think of removing them. As for your arguments, they hinge on the assumption that a foetus is as valuable as a born person, which many people, including myself, do not believe. This is based on the small distinction of the foetus not being conscious until very late into the pregnancy, and not able to survive by itself until well into the third trimester.

You might want to include some arguments that go beyond moral support and ethics in your proposal, to give a wider variety of reasons to support. However, no matter how well-written any hypothetical repeal of ‘Reproductive Freedoms’ may be, it stands a negligible chance of passing.”
Hello! I’m a GAer and NS Roleplayer from the United Kingdom.
My pronouns are he/him.
Any posts that I make as GenSec will be clearly marked as such and OOC. Conversely, my IC ambassador in the General Assembly is Ambassador Fortier. I’m always happy to discuss ideas about proposals, particularly if grammar or wording are in issue. I am also Executive Deputy Minister for the WA Ministry of TNP.
Kenmoria is an illiberal yet democratic nation pursuing the goals of communism in a semi-effective fashion. It has a very broad diplomatic presence despite being economically developing, mainly to seek help in recovering from the effect of a recent civil war. Read the factbook here for more information; perhaps, I will eventually finish it.
