Then post the draft, not a link.
Everything you know about me is wrong. Or a rumor. Something like that.

OOC: you should post the draft itself, not a link to it.

IC: Your draft fails to follow basic WA formatting conventions, and contains factually inaccurate information regarding the known long-term effects of marijuana usage.

OOC: Well, welcome to the General Assembly, otherwise known as the Festering Snakepit. If you want us to look at a draft, please post it here. That said...

IC: Well the sign on the door to the chamber said Illegalize the Use of Marijuana...so where's the proposed draft? *Looks all around the chamber* No draft, no support, and please don't tell me I have to go somewhere else to look at it. Even if you did have your draft here...unless you have some really good arguments, it's going to be a hard no.

Hi there! I am the ambassador of Alsace and Lorraine United, I can see that you are relatively new to the WA as we all once were. As I’m sure you’ve seen you have garnered a lot of comments about how you should post the actual text rather than the document. Doing this will streamline the editing process and will help us to help you. Furthermore, as it stands your proposal would be declared illegal due to improper formatting, I suggest that you take some time to read the rules of proposals as well as too take a look at other proposals as you can learn a lot about legislating that way. Keep up the work and don’t mind less friendly comments, some nations are naturally more aggressive. Have fun!

The policy of banning marijuana, I think, contradicts one of Mousey's resolutions.

"Not only is this a case of the infamous: no draft, no support, but it also breaks several rules. I would strongly suggest checking over some passed resoutions, to get a feel for the type of thing we do here."
Hello! I’m a GAer and NS Roleplayer from the United Kingdom.
My pronouns are he/him.
Any posts that I make as GenSec will be clearly marked as such and OOC. Conversely, my IC ambassador in the General Assembly is Ambassador Fortier. I’m always happy to discuss ideas about proposals, particularly if grammar or wording are in issue. I am also Executive Deputy Minister for the WA Ministry of TNP.
Kenmoria is an illiberal yet democratic nation pursuing the goals of communism in a semi-effective fashion. It has a very broad diplomatic presence despite being economically developing, mainly to seek help in recovering from the effect of a recent civil war. Read the factbook here for more information; perhaps, I will eventually finish it.

Which one? I cannot find any such resolution. Are you referring to the Essential Medication Act?

OOC: FWIW I believe GenSec has generally held that blanket bans of drugs do in fact contradict GA Res. #124. Medical marijuana and (where therapeutic use is possible and not superseded by superior medications) cocaine, opiates, etc. are de facto legal in WA member states (though of course they may regulate the distribution and availability of such drugs nearly to their heart's content). A medical exemption written into this draft would remove that illegality.

Such resolutions would do that. Mousey's resolution

REQUIRES, at minimum, that member nations allow their citizens medicinal access and medicinal use of [transcluded with edits: [any (due to pluralisation)] medication or treatment that is necessary to improve management and/or treatment of a patient’s medical condition but is specially regulated and/or restricted within a given nation].
A blanket ban on marijuana, opiates, etc. would contradict that requirement.

"Well," says the Magnificent Manly Money Mogul, "I personally agree with the concept of annihilating this menace." He looks throughout the room, and then polishes a Government-Faced Coin. "However, I see no draft present exactly here, so I cannot support it." He looks coldly at the table, his eyes pointed down. "Bring a draft here, and I may support it."
"As of recently, it's been decreed that any man who deserts the military will be hunted down and... eliminated. For the glory of the Magnificent Manly Money Mogul."
