With a good campaign, the delegate vote works in your favor. No need to quit the WA.

But then I'd be exploiting the system to push legislation that might be against the desires of the majority. My issue isn't with passing legislation that I personally support, I'm more concerned with being governed by a system that holds a minority over the majority.

I also don't want to pretend that my resignation was motivated by some feeble attempt at social activism. I'm leaving for selfish reasons, seeing as the WA provides me with no benefits in my current situation. If I were in a vulnerable region, or if I were a delegate with many endorsements, I would probably still be in it, though I'd be doing my best to change the process.

OOC: Yes, very. Can't do much but support every attempt to restrict Delegate powers that's posted in Technical, but I doubt much is going to happen.

Seeing as WA nations elect the regional delegate, it helps keep the WA interesting without too much unfairness.

OOC again: You can partake this forum on a non-WA account just fine, including drafting proposals of your own. You only need WA status and two endorsements to submit them. I'm not normally in the WA on this account, yet I use this acc the most to partake threads.

I'm not in the WA and have commented on numerous proposals and proposed legislation. It's not frowned upon at all.
