thanks for the criticism with no suggestions of improvement. If the only suggestion is "draft here" then you're behind on the conversation.

OOC: What would be the point of suggestions? You have already submitted them without drafting them on here first. And regardless, as someone pointed out (a senior mod no less!), it is questionable whether you would listen to them anyway...

United Republic Empire wrote:you've yet to provide any suggestions for improvement.

Here's an idea: withdraw both of them.

They have no content to speak of. "Requires that member nations offer the chance for their escorts to apply for financial aid for the furtherance of higher education" and "Requires that all escort equipment is of quality manufacturing for safer protection and undergoes stringent testing" are the only lines in both proposals that actually do anything ... and they don't really do anything. All the Defining. Clarifying, and Establishing clauses are fluff. The active clauses actually have nothing to do with escorts, who you've singled out for no obvious reason. There's nothing there to improve.

The only reason you have so many approvals is that your proposals aren't strictly illegal. Most of those delegates are regular Approvers who post approvals on even blatantly illegal proposals. They're not saying "we like this", they're saying "we're bored - lets vote on something, no matter how bad". In a World Assembly containing 1,589 Regional Delegates, 60-something approvals is hardly a mandate. With many or most of the staff and players busy with holiday activities, you're claiming credit due to the inaction of others, not for any special ability as authors.

Here's hoping that some of the other GenSec members agree with Bears Armed's interpretation that these contradict prior equal protection proposals. Or maybe somebody should run a quick counter-campaign to convince your approvers to withdraw their votes. Neither of these deserve a shot at a vote.

Except I've already refuted the claim with BA in earlier posts. The claim being that it discriminates against other types of employees. When in fact it doesn't because it does not block other employees from those benefits. I also showed where GA 35 is a contradiction of GA 18 since GA 18 "Excludes" diplomats from the PoW group whereas GA 35 requires them to be included as well.

It is to allow other members of the WA to create their own proposals for other employee fields. More content more activity.

The Emperor looks at the Empirean ambassador with confusion.

"What? I'm sorry, but how does this help other WA members to create their own proposals? All this does is give some definitions of terms relating to escorts (which is in debate over the correct usage), and just states that they will receive more opportunities. How does this directly influence more proposals?"

Fascinating. The only argument in favor of these monstrosities from the authors has been "We are superior to you peasants. Sit down and shut up."

You keep changing the question each time. It helps them by allowing them room to add their own proposal of another profession instead of covering everything at once and not leaving any room for other content.

I'm sorry but we're more interested in those that will offer constructive criticism versus out right complaining. If you can't offer a better way of how it should be worded then you're no better. Offer solutions versus complaints or is that too much.

To everyone else complaining - This right here is exactly what I mean - constructive criticism - offer solutions. This is what is needed more of.

To answer your question - yes and we might go that route in the future.

"Yes? Yes what? Yes as in Yes, it is better to just cover the entire field in one go? Because if it is, then you have just pointed out a major flaw. You have agreed that it would be much better to just do it all in one go than just pinpointing it to one profession, which you are doing. As such, I see this as a waste of time and something I will not support."
