General Assembly Resolution #128 “On Abortion” (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

The World Assembly,

Recognising the need for abortions in the instances referred to in the first operative clause of General Assembly Resolution #128 "On Abortion",

Deeply concerned, however, by the absence of a limit on the gestational age at which the resolution allows for a foetus to be aborted,

Furthermore troubled by the requirement for sovereign countries, including but not limited to countries with largely religious societies, countries with official state religions, and theocracies, to ensure the availability of abortion facilities, which effectively forces said nations to facilitate the construction of institutions that violate the core of their beliefs and morals,

Confused by the ambiguous phrasing in the fourth operative clause which mandates that "abortions are carried out in a way that is as painless as possible", whereas it is unclear whether or not the mandated mitigation of pain pertains to that experienced by the foetus or the mother,

Noting that foetuses respond to external stimuli and experience pain after eight weeks gestational age, and that the resolution, in failing to set a limitation on the gestational age at which the foetus is allowed to be aborted, effectively contradicts itself,

The World Assembly hereby repeals General Assembly Resolution #128 "On Abortion".

I think you need to realize that given the current "Reproductive Freedoms" resolution, the repeal of "On Abortion" would actually make the abortion problem worse. It would allow untrained physicians to perform abortions. It would allow "forced abortions." It could be possible for force people to perform abortions against their moral stance.
