The World Assembly;
Understands why nations may want to issue a death penalty.
Sympathizes with the families of victims killed in violet crimes.
However, this act believes nobody, not even the worst criminals, shall be killed at the hands of the government. It is inhumane, unconstitutional and wrong.
No member nations shall;
1. Have a death penalty in place.
2. Encourage the death penalty.
Every death penalty is banned under this act, including but not limited to;
a. Lethal injection
b. Electric chair
This act does not discourage life sentences in any way.
Clarifying, the intentions of this act is not to benefit criminals, but to uphold the human rights of these criminals. No matter what crime they commit, they shall not be killed.
Furthermore, all member nations shall not create laws allowing death penalties, and shall eliminate the death penalty if it already exists.
