Make Chicken Tendies The Official International Food
A resolution to develop industry around the world.
Category: Advancement of Industry
Area of Effect: Protective Tariffs
Proposed by: LimpBizkit
Before you read this, this is not intended as a joke. Everything in this proposal is absolutely dead serious. Read on.
I , the United States of LimpBizkit, believe the current amount and availability of chicken tendies/tenders is insufficient. Such a universal and delicious dish should surely be treated as an international treasure, and this is what I am proposing.
What to do:
-Make chicken tendies an international delicacy
-Serve chicken tendies in restaurants internationally, by law
-Stock chicken tendies in grocery stores internationally, by law
-Improve wages of people in the Chicken Tendies Industry
I believe the CTI (Chicken Tendies Industry) is a growing industry now that we have technology that can prepare food in seconds. And while this growing industry is operating, I believe its' employees, the beautiful shining people who make tendies available for everyone in NationStates, should have higher wages. These heroes should not have to worry over bankruptcy, they should enjoy their lives in the same way they make everyone else enjoy theirs.
I also believe chicken tendies should be available nearly everywhere. If they are to become an international delicacy (big "if") tendies should obviously be commercially available in nearly every eatery and grocery store/supermarket, for the same reason cake is available nearly everywhere, the reason of being used during occasions and other everyday uses.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this.

Military Weaponry Regulations And Restrictions
A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.
Category: International Security
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Jackany
To The World Assembly,
To prevent unprecedented armageddon and mass destruction to nations in the case of a nuclear war, the People's Republic of Jackany would like to propose some regulations and restrictions to the sizes and arsenal of a nation's military:
1.) A nation cannot have a military that occupies over 45% of the nation's population, unless mandated by the World Assembly for special circumstances.
2.) A nation's nuclear arsenal must contain less than or equal to 15 total nuclear warheads. Chemical weapons should be outlawed, and the cap on ballistic missiles shall not exceed 12,000.
3.) The proposed experimental weapons brought up by a nation must be approved by the Regional Delegate. If a nation is not associated with any region, they cannot use the weapon.
4.) Budget toward offense-based military spending should be less than 1/2 of the spending for defenses in a nation.
5.) All guns shall pass a examination and shall be able to effectively use 5,56×45mm cartridges. The weapon itself shall be able to penetrate at least 2 inches through a solid iron sheet, from a minimum distance of 100 feet from the sheet itself, with a max range of 430 feet, to prevent over-abuse of power in a firearm.
6.) Police in a nation are required to carry a non-lethal firearm, but one that can take out a suspected felon or active shooter quickly and flawlessly.
Concerned that a nation could use nation or even region-ending weaponry, The People's Republic of Jackany would ask the World Assembly not only to pass legislation on the issue, but also to enforce these regulations in all participating regions.

International Human Rights Act
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Uary
Observing that there is currently no guarantee of justice for those accused of criminal acts.
Noting that convictions are often unsafe due to the absence of any legal requirements for a trial under international law
Remarking that miscarriages of justice are common.
Believing that it should be everyone’s right to be protected from malicious and unfair prosecution by law.
Further believing that the more rigorous examination of evidence seen in a fair trial will lead to fewer innocent people being unfairly punished.
Hereby mandates that all WA member nations guarantee a fair trial to anyone facing prosecution in their territory, in accordance with the following requirements:
Article 1 § That the accused be seen as innocent until proven guilty beyond all reasonable doubt, thus placing the onus of proof on the prosecuting authority.
Article 2 § That the defendant be given the right to present his case or to be represented by a person of his choosing.
Article 3 § That the evidence shall be considered by an impartial jury of no less than 5 people and presided over by a judge with knowledge of the laws being applied and the requirements for a trial.
Article 4 § That all persons shall have the right to remain silent when questioned, and exercising this right shall not be used as evidence against them in court.
Article 5 § That information and testimony may not be extracted under duress or using any form of physical or psychological torture.
Article 6 § That the defendant shall have the right to question any witness who provides evidence.
Article 7 § That the defendant be entitled to appeal against both the sentence and verdict that has been passed.
Article 8 § That any punitive sentence passed by a court be proportional to the crime committed.
Article 9 § That the proceedings of the trial conclude within a reasonable time period.

5) Recommends that the ICJ, if it concludes that a state has committed an act of political interference, have that state pay monetary compensation for any unrest, violence or property damage caused or intensified by its destabilising actions;
6) Recommends further that states, if they suspect themselves to be the subject of ongoing acts of political interference, take the necessary means to end those acts, including but not limited to the shutting down of communication channels being used to transmit interfering propaganda;
7) Encourages the unilateral enforcement of diplomatic and/or economic sanctions against states found to have committed an act of political interference;
