Public Dispute Resolution
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.
Category: Political Stability
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Bernie Sanders Cooperative
Description: The sole purpose of this proposal is to pass legislation in the World Assembly, to become law for all member nations and regions, on the subject of public argument between nations.
1. If two nations in the same region engage in any sort of libel, defamation, vituperation or slander against one another's reputation, style of governing, or other matter with malicious intent;
2. If one nation engages in any sort of libel, defamation, vituperation or slander against one or multiple other nations resident in the same region;
3. If these arguments are held in a public view, such as the regional public message system;
4. If other nations in that same region feel the argument hurts their business interests, political or economic motives, or the general state of the region;
Then a vote may be held in the region, giving each nation one vote. If a majority concur with the concerned nation, then the two arguers may be given a period of reasonable time (e.g. 48 hours) to resolve their differences. If no resolution is reached, then those two nations will be forced to leave the region.
To enact this law, the region's nations must concur that there is malicious intent in the wording and writing of one or both nations. There must also be at least 90% of the region's nations voting, to provide a clear opinion on the matter.
Resolution first proposed by The People's Republic of Bernie Sanders Cooperative on 11/8/16.

Restrict Political Freedoms
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.
Category: Political Stability
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Blackwater PMC
Description: This act will make the citizens of any nation not have any political freedoms within the nation they are a citizen in. To many people are becoming to dangerous because the people they elect into office aren't what they say they are. This is leading to many protests and deaths. Out of this police brutality will stop, along with any rebelliousness.
This proposal will insure the following-
-New system to implement where only the wealthiest classes have the right to vote
-More one party systems and authoritarianism
-Less police force brutality on the citizens
-Lesser protests from the citizens
-Enact curfews for all citizens with stricter laws
This will be a TEMPORARY system until the World Assembly can come together with a better proposal to make sure the elections are more fair, and equal for the citizens.

Gun Tax
A resolution to tighten or relax gun control laws.
Category: Gun Control
Decision: Tighten
Proposed by: Evolvus
Description: Honoured members of the World Assembly,
NOTING that over the past few years restrictions on gun control have been dramatically relaxed.
FURTHER NOTING that this is a terrible thing, as mass shootings have also increased exponentially and far too many people die from guns.
STATING that Since it has been proven difficult to outright ban guns, a gun tax would probably cause a decrease in gun purchases.
DEFINING this tax as a tax that varies based on the potential lethality of the firearm, such as a 10% tax on hand pistols and a 30% tax on assault rifles.
SUMMARIZING this proposal as a proposal that would greatly improve security around our great world and provide safety to many citizens.
Approvals: 0
Status: Lacking Support (requires 100 more approvals)

The Death Penalty
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Of Capitalists
Description: The Death Penalty is a form of practice where after committing a serious felony, the accused will be sentenced to the death penalty, with the most common forms being:
1. Injections
2. The Electric Chair
3. The Gas Chamber.
This is inhumane and unfair to society, as you are taking away the life of a human being, and the accused should have to serve out their time, not take the easy way out.
Do we really want to snoop down to the murderers?
So, with this resolution we propose that all Nation States in the World Assembly outlaw the death penalty in their respective countries.
