Repeal: “Ozone Layer Protection”
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
Category: Repeal
Resolution: GA#421
Proposed by: DPREK
General Assembly Resolution #421 “Ozone Layer Protection” (Category: Environmental; Industry Affected: Manufacturing) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
We use green energy already so there is no real need to imply this to countries using solar/green power.
Repeal: “Ozone Layer Protection”
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
Category: Repeal
Resolution: GA#421
Proposed by: Rizorien
General Assembly Resolution #421 “Ozone Layer Protection” (Category: Environmental; Industry Affected: Manufacturing) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Esteemed WA Delegates,
It has come to everyone's notice that "Ozone Layer Protection" has been passed recently. Considering the environmental benefits it would have for our world, it is a noble proposal. However, the consequences of this decision are great. Due to the prohibition of certain chemicals "... that are known to have serious Ozone-depleting properties...", industrialized Nations that rely on these chemicals to make themselves prosperous will suffer. Please consider Repealing this Law. Surely, with much creativity, the nations can work together to find another solution to this problem. There is no guarantee that, " safer alternatives exist for any industrial chemicals that do have Ozone-depleting properties".
Perhaps steps can be taken to strengthen the Ozone Layer. Whatever the cost of another solution, it would surely be less than if everyone's Economies and GDP suffered from this action. Please take action to support our industries.

The Legislation To Allow Human Experiments
A resolution to modify universal standards of healthcare.
Category: Health
Area of Effect: Research
Proposed by: Libkula
Our medical research won't move forward unless we are allowed to freely experiment on willing people.
The experiments need to be humane, so no chopping limbs off for science etc. but rather experiments with cloning, gene therapy and medicinal experiments without having to ask the government to be allowed to do so.
Imagine the results we can see if we start experimenting on people. we can cure diseases that we currently have no cure for, we can create clones, super soldiers or firefighters that can lift extreme weights and save people. We could extend the lifespan, and heal injuries too big for our healthcare today.
I truly believe that human experiments is the future.

Ban On Child Labor
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

For Equal Rights
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: East Terraria
This World Assembly,
Intrigued by the different civil rights policies of WA Nations and how they affect their nations.
But disgusted by WA Nations that choose willingly to embody policies forbidding many from the rights that the privileged hold so dear to their hearts and, in these nations, to themselves.
Proposing a change in WA legislation that will allow all people to carry what should be considered basic human rights in all nations.
Wanting to affect the way that people in all nations live their lives and improve each and every one for the better.
Remembering that all people are just people, despite orientation, religion, race, ethnicity, etc.
Hereby declares,
a. All WA Nations shall give all citizens the basic rights listed below
1. Every citizen is entitled to recognition as a full citizen, without a challenge from any malice government agencies that would
attempt to restrict the rights of normal people.
2. Every citizen will have the right to minimum government care in healthcare, welfare, and other programs already funded by
the government before said legislation.
b. No existing programs will need to be changed to accommodate to this new legislation with the exception of acceptance for all registered recipients of said care who are already enrolled or enrolling in the program.
c. Nations who violate theses standards are breaking international law.
Finally, this World Assembly, with the passing of this legislation, is entering a new progressive era in which all people are treated as equals.
National News Radio: A large-scale infrastructure project will soon be underway. During this time, for safety reasons, the island will be closed to tourists and foreign news agents. We do expect a minor loss in revenue due to this, but this will be greatly offset by both the long and short-term benefits of the infrastructure project. If your job is negatively impacted by the island closure, please send a letter or verbal message via courier to the Council so that we can add you to the list of beneficiaries of foreign aid.

Probably strength violation.

A resolution to modify universal standards of healthcare.
Category: Health
Area of Effect: Bioethics
Proposed by: Ferntland
My proposal for the General Assembly is that we should clone our citizens. Right now Ferntland is currently allowing cloning in our nation and would require others to do so. This would give a significant amount of citizens in each nations and also break science laws and able to create new life from this via changing the genetics or evwn use this as a means of comfort for families who have lost a loved one and want a reminder of them by creating an exact copy of that specific person who died so they can still be part of the family maybe even make them immortal.

Weapon control
A resolution to tighten or relax gun control laws.
Category: Gun ControlDecision: Tighten
Proposed by: Mathias nation
we need to tighten gun laws. every day around the world hundreds of people die from weapon related causes. There are few constitutional rights as often quoted as the second amendment: the right to bear arms. Few people who quote it recognize the difference between their world and that of the people who wrote it. At one point in time, many Americans were involved in agriculture and had large tracts of land that they needed to protect. On the other hand, the guns they had available were definitely not automatic or capable of harming many people with a single pulling of the trigger. This essay looks at some of the most robust reasons for a new system of gun control.
Many people have been harmed by legal firearms. The majority of school based attacks have involved young people taking up guns owned by their parents and going on a rampage through schools and other vulnerable places. Had greater restrictions been placed on people before allowing them to make their purchases, the guns might not have so easily been appropriated by children. Similarly, the ease of gun acquisition has allowed paranoid home owners to vent their frustration on ethnic minorities by murdering children. A psychological evaluation might have prevented that.
While guns can be acquired with relative ease, many less dangerous substances are heavily regulated or illegal. Many drugs are only accessible with a prescription because they have side effects that are less permanent than death. Studies have shown that marijuana has not killed anyone nor will it start yet this plant and its derivatives were illegal worldwide up until recently. Even now many people would readily demonize marijuana for its THC but will not admit that guns should not be as easy to access as they are at present.
Despite the issues with gun control in the United States, other countries have successfully managed regulation of the industry. Australia has very much in common with America in terms of population size, distribution and wealth. After its own incidences of gun based violence, legislature was quickly drafted to ensure that guns stay out of the hands of people who should not have access to them. Statistical evidence has shown how effective this method turned out.
While it is difficult to give up what feels like an important right to many people, it is important to remember why this is so important to begin with. Lives have been lost and many more will be lost until we as a nation can learn to control our gun culture.
WE NEED TO TIGHTEN GUN LAWS.
how can we do this?
simple if you want to own a pistol such as a: M1911, glock 19 you need to go through background checks, then you need to go through 1 month of gun safety classes.
if you want to own a rifle such as: M1 Grand, AR15 you need to go through background checks, then you need to go through 1 month of gun safety classes.
Blogposal, multiple RL-references, possible contradiction of Resolution 399, Section 5.
Side note, the grammar and mechanics could do with some tidying up.

Category: Human Rights
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Androndia
Hello my fellow WA members, today I propose to you the law/policy of which old people (The bad kind) over 90 years of age should be relocated to a space station orbiting around Mars, and here's why. There simply is no more room on the planet for handicapped and disabled old people. I know I know, it's sounds pretty bad but trust me this is for the benefit of the people. Old people who cannot contribute anything should be relocated and that is why, of course there are more reasons but this is just the proposal.
