WA-GA World Borders Protection Act Of 2017
A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.
Category: International Security
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Trudau
Whereas, the WA-GA will allocate funding for countries that wish to improve their own border security, this includes funding towards:
1. Border Walls
2. Hiring for more immigration agents
3. Improved transports for international efforts in deportations
4. Increased security efforts for port security and the halting of illegal items being trafficked into a nation
Whereas, the definition of Illegal Immigration in the WA-GA is established as:
"Any individual or group who attempts or succeeds in infiltrating a border without said nation's or region's permission, whether the circumstances be innocent or illegally violent in cause."
Whereas, the WA-GA will host a database for illegal immigration worldwide and will strive to end it in well-kept nations that desire a strong border security. The WA-GA realizes that Illegal immigration is unfair to people who use a nation's fair and legal process and it also harbors violent criminals and thieves of jobs which negatively impact international securities and economies.

Carbon Dioxide Emissions Regulations
A resolution to increase the quality of the world's environment, at the expense of industry.
Category: Environmental
Industry Affected: All Businesses
Proposed by: Becklana
People of the World Assembly,
ACKNOWLEDGING that Climate change, and global warming are a factor that will effect future generations.
NOTING that as a result to Climate change and global warming, sea levels will rise, displacing millions of people.
I HERBY propose the following measures:
1) Net Carbon Dioxide intake/release must be Balanced in every nation.
2) 50% of energy production in every nation must be renewable energy.
3) Out-right ban the use of coal to produce energy.
4) Set up an International Disaster Response Fund for countries effected by Acts of God.
5) All nations must spend at a minimum of 2% of it's budget on the environment.
ACKNOWLEDGE these actions have been recommended by Scientists across the globe.
NOTE that Climate Change & Global warming are happening now. If we act now we can save our countries borders from shrinking as the sea levels rise.
RECOMMEND Nations take further action than proposed in this Resolution.
URGES that future generations will thank you.

Vague, simplistic, and not written like a law.

While I am aware that several past resolutions use "all nations", I still maintain that "all nations" means all nations, member or not, even when member nations is not used. It should be illegal for current and future proposals.

National News Radio: A large-scale infrastructure project will soon be underway. During this time, for safety reasons, the island will be closed to tourists and foreign news agents. We do expect a minor loss in revenue due to this, but this will be greatly offset by both the long and short-term benefits of the infrastructure project. If your job is negatively impacted by the island closure, please send a letter or verbal message via courier to the Council so that we can add you to the list of beneficiaries of foreign aid.
