"Well, thank you Ambassador Pink. Did anything important happen while I was out? Seems like my government just ... stopped doing anything the whole time I was out. No message backlog on my datapad, no missed calls, no news at all from home... I'm quite confused by this."
"Bartender, could I get a glass of water over here? Seems like that would be a good idea for recovering from a coma."

"Perhaps your home nation has been vaporized by a weapon of mass destruction, leaving nothing but atomized remains?" Ogenbond fiddles with a rather expensive-looking brass instrument, removing one of the pistons from its tubing. "Well, probably not, but that seems like the most interesting possibility to me."

6(a). Watch the tea. It brings on dreadful outbreaks of lovey-doveyness and one tea-drinking delegate ended up with twins

Bell, eyes wide at the idea of anybody drinking the tea, slides as far down the other end of the bar as he can manage. Self preservation is something of an instinct to Bell at this point.

OOC: see my sig below (especially the bit marked "ooc") - I basically play on the basis that my IC persona is pretty much a reflection of me in RL
IC: given that this tea is Thytian and comes from my personal stores, I'm not sure if BarLordian Convention 6a even applies...unless it's simply because the tea's been in this place far too long...

It is considerably harder to write for this character than Ambassador Stephenson. There's probably a reason most people have ambassadors very similar to themselves.

"Says one of the people most likely to die of it, if you drank it outside the nullifiers' effect," Janis teased him. "Then again, as long as they serve ice water here, you might be revivable while still inside the Bar itself..."
OOC: Hey, it could be worse. My ambassador could be a self-propelled hammer or an inflatable Volkswagen bug.
OOC: To be fair, that only happened to Herby once and was because of the nullifiers kicking in.
