[Draft] Ban Strawberry Milkshake.

Postby EvilDarkMagicians » Sat Jan 09, 2010 2:01 pm

This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

Recognising that strawberry milkshake is bad for the general health of any population.

Showing that chocolate and banana milkshake are the ultimate flavoured milkshake.

Allowing the population of your county to drink any other kind of flavoured milkshake.

Banning strawberry milkshake.

We hope you sense in banning these disgusting, unnatural milkshake deviants.

Ambassador of EvilDarkMagicians.

Honoured ambassador, strawberry milkshake is not a international agenda, if ever. In fact it is up to the restaurants to determine this.

I am disgusted and appalled beyond belief by this vile and repulsive attack on Restaurant Sovereignty (RestSov).

I am sure the Most Hon. Delegation from Grays Harbor will disagree with me, though... *shrugs*

Really ambassador, must you waste our time with this? Maybe the rats behind the dumpster outside will listen to you, although they probably like strawberry milkshakes, so you might find yourself in quite a hostile environment.

In any case, when drafting a proposal for our hallowed halls, try to make it have some form of international relevance.

The ban of strawberry milkshakes, much like the necessary shipment of all bovines to the Rejected Realms which I have brought up here, is an issue that we as WA Members must understand is of utmost importance and seriousness and must be passed to ensure all of our survival.

Umm... strawberry milkshakes will be sold, you will be un-happy, but no one will care. If it does pass, then many people will be outraged and attempt to lynch you.

Honoured ambassador, while I agree that Chocolate Milkshake is superior to all other kinds, I am unsure as to whether or not this is a truly pressing issue needing to be addressed at present.

But... But... But... The Strawberry Milkshake is our national drink! Surely this cannot be happening!

Well, at least it's not banning mint tea. Emperor Darson would go crazy if he couldn't get his mint tea fix every day.

Rigorous studies done by the Glen-Rhodes Gastronomy Society have shown, conclusively, based upon the largest sample size yet, that strawberry is indeed the best flavor of milkshake. So, naturally we must question the scientific integrity of EvilDarkMagicians's polling techniques.

I suspect that the OP has had too many strawberry milkshakes. I also suspect that his strawberries would be illegal in my nation due to strict drug laws.

For shame, Ambassador! Neither category nor strength! I am almost led to the conclusion that you are not taking your duties seriously.

And "Banning strawberry milkshake" is supposed to be an active clause? It's not even that most popular grammatical error, a hanging participle -- you haven't given it anywhere to hang.

Which is fair enough, because, in my opinion, hanging's too good for it.

What about those people who are lactose intolerant? For their sake we must not only ban strawberry milkshakes but instead ban all varieties of milkshakes!

Why stop there honoured ambassador? For the safety of all lactose-intolerant peoples, we must ban dairy products, and make their creation illegal! Adding a death scentence would do much to enforce a proposal such as this as well!

Banning all dairy products would take it a tad too far.
Then we would have to drink soya milk and rice milk, and we can't have that can we.

Mild? MILD? Have you considered the effect of this on the strawberry industry, internationally? Especially that part of it that recently funded the GA fact-finding tour of many interesting nations to find out why their casinos, five-star restaurants and other places of select entertainment often, unaccountably, did not serve strawberry milkshakes?

Speaking of which, before this comes to vote, I believe it vital that provision be made from the General Fund to instantly institute a supplementary fact-finding tour. We need to examine whether the use of strawberries in an alcoholic context could make up for the drastic shortfall in income and tragic loss of employment this vile and heartless proposal could cause to those who labour uncomplainingly in the strawberry fields -- for our sake, ambassadors, for our sake.

In the light of my extensive experience in this area and the vital nature of the question, I am willing to put aside my heavy Secretariat responsibilities to lead the team, and will readily undertake an attempt to secure the services of well-known expert Mr Neville NotThatOne Chamberlain to act in an advisory capacity.
