"Hardly. Somebody has to read it, because it is a WA law. Its highly effective at accomplishing that. Since nobody can force voters to make an educated vote, its the best we, or anybody, can do. Forcing some member of the delegation to read the law is better then nothing at all."

OOC: And its one of the few resolutions where the WA doesn't take itself completely seriously. Thats a huge plus!

Because nearly everyone is noncompliant. While I acknowledge the good intention of that resolution, next to no-one, in fact, reads the resolution.

Six people is nearly everyone? I hadn't realized the WA had grown so small.... :palm:

OOC: My repeal won't be entirely serious, either.

My draft of Condemn Auralia is DOA, so it has been cancelled.
Moving forward with two other resolutions.
Could someone please link me the mission statement of TEK?

OOC: No. This kind of stuff belongs in the Security Council forum, not the World Assembly forum.

If roleplay topics are posted in Gameplay, they are locked or moved. If general discussion topics are posted in International Incidents, they are locked or moved. If technical questions are posted in General, they are locked or moved. It is only fair that the WA forum have the same level of respect paid to it by not being cluttered up with irrelevant SC stuff.

Doesn't that boil down to "Worship the Cute One"?
The Confrederated Clans (and other Confrederated Bodys) of the Free Bears of Bears Armed
(includes The Ursine NorthLands) Demonym = Bear[s]; adjective = ‘Urrsish’.
Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.

Anyway... ahem... we look forward to the Safe Starship Act, but we wonder what your, ummm, "Sensible Limits" in the other one will be. What constitutes "sensible" will probably be both blatantly offensive to some and excessively restrictive to others. Good luck with that one. Ensure you're protected from, er, whatever may be thrown your way. :p
