[DRAFT] About the massive corruption

Postby The Northern Philippines » Wed Feb 26, 2014 7:17 am

My dear comrades, before I start, have a good day to everyone and I hope that everyone will listen to me.

At first, what is CORRUPTION:

Corruption, in politics, is a illegal spending of people's money for self-interest. It also tears the economic prosperity to a country. Almost all nations around this world is plagued by corruption.

MY PROPOSED RESOLUTION:

1) Corruption at the height

1.1 Like what I said, corruption is rampant all over this world. I think that the General Assembly MUST DO Something in order to stop this plague that killed most nations.

1.2 Who are the affected? All of us, all of us. Free trade all over the world will be paralyzed due to monopoly and excessive tax charge, which is for the people, but only few enjoy this succession.

1.3 The result? Pirates around the coastal areas, lots of rebel groups and other obstacles to achieve a forever prosperity.

2) Are the countries can do what they can do?

2.1 Yes, and only yes. The leader can punish the offender by the means of death penalty and the recovery of ALL of his/her riches. But if the leader of the state is also involved, an action from the Assembly is a MUST for the Sanctions against the leader and help people to prosper.

2.2 The offender got special treatment? Simply, give the government a lot of sanctions and put an arms embargo in order that his/her private military will not be mobilized. Arms embargo is exempted only by a One recognized Armed Forces.

3) If the leader didn't stop in corruption and also involved, what the Assembly will do?

3.1) The Assembly will talk to the Security Council for the military action against the leader's military on a specific country. He/she must be arrested for the treason he made to that country and let the people decide on what will be the punishment.

Hope you will understand and approve my proposal.

Respect from my country, Estados Federados de Filipinas

Use formal language in legal documents, such as this. This includes the omission of informal pronouns, such as "I," "you," "we," and "me." You may want to brush up on your writing before making another proposal.

My government is favorably inclined towards eliminating corruption in government, and would probably vote for an anti-corruption proposal were it to reach quorum.

However, this draft unfortunately is not something we would look to support. It reads rather like a blog post right now, and it also violates a few other rules. Rather than go through the proposal line by line, and maybe put you off improving and devleoping your idea, I'd suggest you take the time to understand the rules and conventions of the World Assembly. Grays Harbour has linked to a very useful post which might help.

This should be in your proposal.

MY PROPOSED RESOLUTION:

1) Corruption at the height

Huh? Makes no sense and there's no need for it. Take it out.

1.1 Like what I said, corruption is rampant all over this world. I think that the General Assembly MUST DO Something in order to stop this plague that killed most nations.

You have to take out all mentions of "I" in this. Also, if corruption killed most nations, then who's voting?

1.2 Who are the affected? All of us, all of us. Free trade all over the world will be paralyzed due to monopoly and excessive tax charge, which is for the people, but only few enjoy this succession.

Don't ask who the affected are if you're planning on answering that. Take out the "us." Also remember that not every nation supports free trade or has taxes.

1.3 The result? Pirates around the coastal areas, lots of rebel groups and other obstacles to achieve a forever prosperity.

Don't ask questions, reword it so it makes sense, remember there are a lot of different types of nations in the world.

2) Are the countries can do what they can do?

Makes no sense and also not needed.

2.1 Yes, and only yes. The leader can punish the offender by the means of death penalty and the recovery of ALL of his/her riches. But if the leader of the state is also involved, an action from the Assembly is a MUST for the Sanctions against the leader and help people to prosper.

Many nations are against the death penalty. This also does not do anything. You need to reword this so that it makes sense and causes something to happen.

2.2 The offender got special treatment? Simply, give the government a lot of sanctions and put an arms embargo in order that his/her private military will not be mobilized. Arms embargo is exempted only by a One recognized Armed Forces.

Makes no sense, doesn't do anything. Your proposal has to mandate that nations do something, otherwise it has no point.

3) If the leader didn't stop in corruption and also involved, what the Assembly will do?

Not needed. You also need to create a committee or assign tasks to an existing one to have the Assembly take action.

3.1) The Assembly will talk to the Security Council for the military action against the leader's military on a specific country. He/she must be arrested for the treason he made to that country and let the people decide on what will be the punishment.

Many countries are not democracies. The Assembly shouldn't talk to the SC.

Hope you will understand and approve my proposal.

Don't sign it. That's considered excessive branding.

Right now, as this stands, it is incredibly illegal. I would suggest reading this as you revise it.

I respectfully disagree with the delegation from Inventio. Like, the WA should totally loosen up and be awesomely casual, like, know what I mean?

Cut the commie crap. This isn't how you write a proposal, and even if it was correct, there are about a hundred laws that this is an unnecessary duplicate of, making it ignorant, uneducated, and illegal.

Read the rules before you try to create crappy legislature, okay sweetie?

Corruption is a big problem in many nations. Maybe you would like to write a draft of resolution?

The fact that this was written in an informal and almost childish tone convinces me that this bill is not worth time.
