I think the WA prefers the milder resolutions, like "If guns are allowed, then safety restriction 1 2 3 and 4 come into place".

How? By listening to advise. Reading the rules and guidelines. Paying attention. Participating in other debates to see how things work. By ridding yourself of the notion that "disagreement" = "hate".
