my region was thinking of submitting a proposal stating that we wanted to unite small regions in big regions depending on the position on planet earth( like greek islands like mine, will be part of greece)

will that be possible?


also i know this might be difficult, but is it possible to create a "region assembly"? like if we can unite regions, is it possible to pass laws in our region, and then propose them to the WA to be international?

Impossible through WA resolutions, however possible through an in-game campaign.

I've been trying to loosely unite regions in protective and supportive alliances through an organization hosted by my region called "SIR" - the Society of Independent Regions. While it is not so radical as to attempt to merge all of the regions into larger ones, it unites them in a progressive attempt to keep them safe from foreign threats and improve their influence.

In-game you could also just declare that your region is a division of the larger region, if you wanted to. Quite a few have done it before. Just ask if the larger region is willing to accept your smaller region as a division and work some sort of political thing out so as to avoid confusion.

Also be sure to look over the old WA proposals to make sure you're not copying anything accidentally.

Well if you wanted to do this it would have to follow an incredible complex system of rules and......well if you live in the US I could compare it to the constitution... It would have to flexible work efficently and clearly state the rules and make the rules fair ( for instance if one wanted a large nation or empire you would have to follow more rules do more things for your nation and many many other things)

I'm maybe talking about something written down or decided by a single person

For the record making something like this has been in the back of my head ever since I joined nationstates
