Resolution of the Year 2012: The Grand Finale

Postby Sanctaria » Thu Feb 07, 2013 10:37 am

And so we've finally arrived at the end of this year's Resolution of the Year. This is the poll to end all polls and decide once and for all which was the greatest resolution in 2012.

It was a year of repeals, shitstorms, lulls, and crap, but we've pruned the weeds down to the following ten resolutions. One one will survive the final cull.

As usual, don't be a jerk and puppet-wank the poll. Poll will run for 10 days and you will not be able to change your vote. May the odds be ever in your favour.

And that's it. It's all over. It's taken us a while, but we've finally gotten here. God knows we had to trawl through a good deal of shit to find the diamonds, but we did it. We've found the Resolution to Rule Them All.

Huge props and congrats to Bob Flibble on the success of his resolution, the Resolution of the Year 2012, the Clean Prostitute Act. May you have many clean prostitutes partake in your celebratory debauchery.

Yes, the Clean Prostitute Act was the best resolution of all of last year with over 34% of votes cast preferring it to all others in the final. My own resolution, Habeas Corpus, came second. So goddamn it Flib. Goddamn it to hell.

IC: WHOOOO!!!! Finally the WA recognizes, the principle of personal freedom is not necessarily harmed by a pragmatic approach favoring national prerogative, and of course, that the horny needs of the one always outweigh the needs of the prudish many! Or something like that. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm late for my weekly Freaky Fun Time at the Karmicarian Bordello! ~Susa Batko-Yovino, Ambassador to the WA

OOC: And a hearty congratulations to you, Sanct, for the successful management of this year's poll. And no cheating/vote-stuffing scandal this time!! Awesome.

The (currently somewhat drunk) Ambassador Nils Becker addresses Mr. Fibble: Who are you again? Nevermind, if you get me something to drink, I will indeed like you!
Main nation is Louisistan which has left the World Assembly after their proposed repeal of GAR #237 "First Responder Protection Act" failed to reach quorum. Suevo-Prussia is a small nation consisting of 4 cities that have seceeded from Louisistan.
The Presiding Council of the Commonwealth for the year 2014 is the City Council of Eisenach.
Mr. Pascal Scheffer has been appointed Speaker of the Presiding Council in matters of the Presidency.
