Right to vote act

Postby AJD Germany » Tue Nov 20, 2012 3:03 pm

In any sort of democracy make sure EVERYONE gets the right to vote, not just some people.
1. Encourage people if they are told they can't vote then tell government official/officials.
2. Punish people who said other people can't vote for a bad reason.

Why do I feel like you're eventually going to tell me where I can watch first run movies on-line?
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

I'm not seeing anything which even vaguely resembles an Act, so I voted "don't know".

The right to vote doesn't mean one should vote for things without knowing what they are. In fact, election ballots should have an option at the bottom "I've never heard of any of these candidates but I want a lollipop" and if the voter selects that they get a lollipop.
I am a puppet.
Aren't we all?

This proposal is illegal as it attempts to exempt any nation that is not a democracy from having to follow it. Ironically, if it didn't do that, it'd still be illegal because it'd be an Idealogical Ban.

GR's democratic assistance act did much the same thing, didn't it? None of its mandates were applicable to nations that didn't have elections. (Which I suppose means that this act is not only illegal for the reasons stated, but also Duplication?)

I'm curious now - what would count as a good reason?

Is this actually a draft? As it's a damned awful one.

It's worse than that, it was actually submitted.
