What happens if a company does something so groundbreaking that it creates an entirely new industry?

1) It's not submitted. It was apparently deleted.

2) Category and strength?

3) This takes such a simplistic view, especially given the nature of patent rights, that this will destroy business. It can be argued that this will forbid corporate states (ideological ban).

4) How would a "trust" in the usual financial sense lead to price-fixing?

It says in 3.) that cartels will be illegal? Yujie, the banning of Cartels will not prevent monopolies. Some cartels were used to help regulate business and create an equal and also profitable price on goods that the monopolies where trying to raise thus allowing more frequent competition within businesses, helping the smaller businesses out so they wouldn't have to compete against rising prices. Yet there still was cartels that were used as a monopolists advantage to regulate all businesses commerce and sky rocket industries profits until the government would later topple said trust. So the point of out lawing all Cartels may cause a problem within the Nation.

No proof, personal opinion.

Republic of Yujie wrote:1. No international corporation can possess a market share of more than 70%. If a Corporation was to be found guilty of being a monopoly, it shall be broken up into 4 parts.

Too general at start, too specific at the end.

Republic of Yujie wrote:2. Every international corporation in an industry must have at least 4 competitors. If not, the existing companies shall donate parts of its shares and with the shares, creat a new company.

Too specific, and poor competition ideals. If a company invents something, of course they'll have the market share at the start. Should they be allowed to promote? Yes. Will this resolution allow it? Most possibly not.

Republic of Yujie wrote:3. Trusts and cartels are hereby banned. The price of goods and services must be set by competition and supply and demand. Banning trusts outright is a very bad idea, as some people actually rely on trusts to survive. Cartels are covered by GAR#23.

Overall, this would be considered micromanagement, and there are a lot of people here in the GA who would argue with its intentions.

It should be noted that resolution #70 handles this topic quite well.

"Also, as this proposal doesn't set a lower limit on the size of market over which a single company is forbidden to maintain control, it would apparently forbid control of the market even over a single book title... which probably contravenes the existing resolution on copyrights..."
