The issues we are talking about is that legalising prostitution entirely will just entice the poor to harm their body for money, due to excessive sex. In addition, the desperation will create opportunity by organized criminals to exploit them for all sorts of awful stuff.

Sorry to pop your bubble, but there isn't such a thing as excessive sex.

Yes, there is: the desperation for money will mean that the poor will be forced into having sex many times a day. Total legalisation of prostitution is not going to help the economy, but it is going to turn what is supposed to be recreational into a paradise for organized crime. Why? Because organised criminals use the sex industry to prey on potential victims and abuse the trust of them.

I need a source for that? Prostitution often happens in areas where other crimes are happening. As Ms. Harper outlines on page 25, I believe, sex trafficking groups can easily hide behind legal prostitution to continue their trade. To fight that, many nations believe that the only way to stop this would be to ban prostitution.

Then how's this for advice, focus your proposal writing efforts on something that actually has more than a snowball's chance in hell of passing. Think about it, when you've got this many people arguing against you during the drafting, you're going to have even more arguing against this should this proposal ever come up for vote.

No it wont. Being aware that it occurs doesn't mean we know exactly where and who causes it to happen...thats a serious failure of logic.

No it wont. Being aware that it occurs doesn't mean we know exactly where and who causes it to happen...thats a serious failure of logic.

It's your responsibility to find out where they are taking place since you are completely aware.
