No, we have been countering your arguments. So far, none of them have stood up to anything. If you believe otherwise, you're either entirely delusional, or need to reread the last several pages. So far you haven't addressed any of our arguments. I can list them for you to try if you want.

OOC: That depends on how the proposals are actually worded. After all, for example, we were able to legislate on the 'Law of the Sea' even though some member nations are completely landlocked...'

It would affect the entire WA - whenever or wherever they legalized prostitution, they would need to introduce certain standards. I'm thinking of a proposal along these lines that omits the bit about forced legalization of prostitution.

Well, we suggest that after we've made a few changes, it gets put through the submission process and then we'll see how much truth there is in that statement. Even 101 votes cast is still not really enough to be properly indicative. In the (slightly more likely) event that it still fails, we (Libraria and Ausitoria) will be happy to let the matter rest.

Going back to the proposal itself, we still think that '(2) A prostitute has the right to refuse any sexual act' needs to should make allowance for contracts, and '(2) For any government to stop a prostitute from his/her/its profession' may as well be removed as legalizing prostitution has that affect, and it implies that a prostitute is safe from arrest. Equally we object to (3) Local governments must notify prostitutes about health and other risk connected to prostitution via mail on the grounds that some nations don't have mail or local governments, and part (1) covers that anyway so we might as well remove it. That same part (1) should anyway be reworded to just health risks, unless there are other specific risks.

Also there might be the enormous loophole of taxing prostitution into non existence by giving the government 110% tax or something, although we're not sure of the legality of that principal? Anyway, if that loophole is legal, the proposal should plug the hole.

Thats true but nothing prevents illegal sex trafficking from being claimed as legal prostitution.

As it looks from a legal (as in law) POV, this proposal looks like a loophole to get past GAR# 32 (or whatever the Ban on Trafficking is)
