Protection isnt 100%...what protection are you talking about?

I would I agree to a mandatory health test for diseases...if you infect with an STD then no job for you.

This resolution RECCOMENDS the following:
(1) That member states provide free or low-cost condoms and other prophylactics, birth control and STI screenings to prostitutes and others who are at risk of STIs and unwanted pregnancies.
(2) Prostitutes are involved with brothels for safety.

not enough?

Criminal organization would use this to become legitimate and prolyl would go into trafficking since it is legal for prostitution.

But not against their will, Trafficking is against will.....right?

Yea but Trafficking....doesnt follow the law.....and now since you are giving the legalization of something they do.....you are eventually legalizing trafficking.

WAY TO GO!!!

Btw your resolution nothing mentioning the fact to check if its consentual or not....even doing so it would still conflict with NatSov.

1) Cheap condoms are terrible they have a low rate of prevention. Birth control is still low. STI good but so? If they are infected....then what?

2) :palm: I dont remember brothels being hospitals. Safetty as in domestic and violence not health wise.

cheap as in low price, not low quality.
Brothel is just there, has nothing to do with what we are talking about. I copied everything by mistake and didnt feel like re-doing it.

Criminal orginizations also listen to music.

Thus, if you legalize music, it will eventually lead to the legalization of murder, as both are things that criminal organizations do. After all, as you point out, when you legalize something that someone does, it directly leads to legalizing other things that they do.

So we should outlaw music then! So that murder remains illegal!

Yes, well, we're not giving up on retaining the right to decide whether prostitution should be legal or illegal within our own borders, so I suppose we're all out of luck.

Nothing, to my knowledge, links music and murder rates. If you are going to make an argument for this proposal then I suggest you make one that does not make it look sillier than it is."

Ambassador? I am not an ambassador. I was just randomly chosen to be sent here... it's complicated. Anyway, I may not be a fancy ambassador, but I DO know that ya require statistics to back up an argument. Give me some citations on this correlation.

NO what you are saying is legalizing prostitution is legalizing sex trafficking which hold hand in hand. You used an example that makes no sense what so ever.

THe facepalm was for the sheer stupidity of the OP.

Who cares about the corrolation between music and murder....there isnt one but thats not the issue....the issue is that sex trafficking and prostitution have a DIRECT effect one each other.

If you have a legalized front for criminal organization, ergo crime will increase. If prostitution is legalised, ergo sex trafficking can be overlooked and seen as regular prostitution. CONSENT is just a pretty word we all use to ensure governments dont do it. I doubt criminal organization care about the GA and their decrees due to the fact that they break national laws in the first place.
