INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC AGENCY ACT
RECOGNISING: That many nations of the world feel the need for a Nuclear deterrent, and that many other nations of this august assembly use Nuclear and Atomic Energy to provide clean and renewable sources of electrical power
FURTHER RECOGNISING: That the nations of the world should be free to choose their stance on the subject of Nuclear Weaponry and Nuclear Power
HOWEVER, NOTING: That Nuclear Weaponry and Nuclear Power both carry inherent risks, especially the long term Health and Environmental Effects of radiation exposure
ALSO NOTING: No international agency is set up to provide regulatory guidelines for the use of Nuclear Weapons or Power, or to have a register of which countries have Nuclear Capabilities
PROPOSES: The Establishment of a WA Committee to regulate the use of Nuclear Weapons for Non-Military Targets and to safeguard against the dangers of Nuclear Power, and provide assistance where necessary; a forum to discuss future regulations, limitations and proposals for the use of Nuclear Power and Nuclear Weaponry; and an international Treaty Organisation under the auspices of the World Assembly, membership of which bonds countries to these regulations
