"We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it.

"If a nation values anything more than freedom, then it will lose it's freedom; and the irony of it is
that if it is comfort and security that it values, it will lose that too. Unknown billions must decide: Are we to be governed by different governments or by an International organization ? I, for one, owe no
allegiance to the world assembly nor will I give it any. I obey only the cascoon Constitution. You had
better think about this issue, for if the W.A can violate mine yours or anybodys country's but my
country... it can violate ours...The World Assembly may not be the top dog 15 years from now. there own
security council resolutions, backed by say....soldiers, could be aimed at. We must realize that we cannot co-exist eternally. One of us must go to his grave. We do not
want to go to the grave. They do not want to go to the grave, either. So what can be done? We
must push them to their grave.

Then click the resign button. No one is forcing you to be in the WA.

If totalitarianism wins this conflict, the world will be ruled by tyrants, and individuals will be slaves. If democracy wins, the nations of the earth will be united in a commonwealth of free peoples, and individuals, wherever found, will be the sovereign units of the new world order.

"If instant world government, Charter review, and a greatly strengthened International Court do not provide the answers, what hope for progress is there? The answer will not satisfy those who seek simple solutions to complex problems, but it comes down essentially to this: The hope for the foreseeable lies, not in building up a few ambitious central institutions of universal membership and general jurisdiction as was envisaged at the end of the last war, but rather in the much more decentralized, disorderly and pragmatic process of inventing or adapting institutions of limited jurisdiction and selected membership to deal with specific problems on a case-by-case basis ... In short, the 'house of world order' will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great 'booming, buzzing confusion,' to use William James' famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault."

If we do not follow the dictates of our inner moral compass and stand up for human life, then this
lawlessness will threaten the peace and democracy of the emerging new world order i now see, this long dreamed-of vision ive worked toward for so long.

Ok, listen, please. This so called solution of yours is never going to work for a simple reason: it's illegal.

It both tries to change the game, and also just happens to be a idealogical ban against every form of goverment that is not a dictatorship.

it does not matter to some people......ill let you in on a little secret......at least 15 WA. members are planing this new world order and soon they will start wars, propose laws that have loopholes that allow the WA. more control ,and they are planing to go to war with any country that will not join them. i know this because i was a member of this committee.

We shall see how well this so called war of yours goes. My bet is that not one of those laws will make it to quorum. (as you need a lot more than 15 approvals)

And before you even ask, the answer to you asking me to join you is "no"

I've a lot of faith in the Game Mods...especially Hack, Fris, and Ard. I'm sure they'll used their modly flamethrowers to winnow out the chaff before it even comes close to quorum, Sparky.

QFT. And even if this supposed conspiracy went forward, these "15 WA members" would be ill-advised to go to war with "any country that will not join them". I imagine that's rather a lot of nations.

There will be no World Government, silly. You see, when Max Barry created the world, he intended the UN WA to be a left-leaning organization with thousands of nations in it. He will not allow us to create a World Government because every time we suggest a World Police, the proposal mysteriously disappears from existance and the many-government world goes on living.

Besides the WA has NO actual authority, that's what the mods are for. The WA is just an interesting game mechanic, so please stop your NeoCon ranting!

i would rather live in a world that represents ALL people living in it, then only the interests of one small part of it. ANY one small part of it. be that one nation, or even myself.

if we fail to elect a planetary council of the choosing of all people, we will assuredly be dictated to by one or a handful of powerful nation's by their force of arms. if there is one thing to fear, it is more the sovereignty of powerful nations, then the union of all living creature's common interests.

scapegoating our common interests, will NOT, bring, insure, nor preserve, freedom, nor anything remotely resembling freedom.

nor will any existing ideology, nor even will conflicts between them.

"Fifteen nations out of what? Half a million? Oh please spare me your drug, alcohol, or brain injury fueled ranting. You are a very silly boy if you think that your magnificent fifteen can do Anything other than be sound and fury signifying NOTHING." The UnDelegate finished that sentence with a roar of mocking laughter.

"The World Assembly is no where close to being anything resembling a World Government any way. They can not tax, they can not have a military or a police force, and belonging to it is purely optional. Heck out of my sixteen member region only one of us is in the WA and I think the last time they even bothered to vote was years ago."

"So, Please! Take your chest thumping bombast elsewhere, and your little soap box too..."

"Oh and by the way... they try to go to war with the Domination of Tanaara? The term will be epic fail - don't threaten those you don't know anything about." And for such a mousey, eminently overlookable man he was suddenly very stern.

Ahh, the meadering nonsense of complete n00bdom. It reminds me of the days when Meldaria came by, and posted in the General Assembly. Fortunatly, our hallowed halls are relativly idiot proof, and he soon left to trouble the posters of International Incidents with imaginary wars over buckets.

Well, since my perfidy has been revealed, there is obviously no point in continuing to pay the expensive PR firm I had employed to distract you all (and, of course, the other mods). Therefore I confess: it is all true.

This becomes clear when we examine the two most recent, artfully loopholed, proposals. Skipping the Repeal, of course, because Repeals can't introduce new legislation. Anyway,

Numismatic Appreciation Act forces you all to stand around appreciating numismatics, thus rendering everyone blind to all the creeping syllables of socialistic slipperiness I slipped in while the innocent proposer wasn't watching. Further, if you read it according to the extremely simple code I forced him to follow, you will find it actually turns the WA into "a moot", which is derived from Witanagemot, and we all know what that means.

Dignified End-of-Life Choices is, in fact, despite all the proposer's careful denial, the Death List you may have been reading about in many reliable Real World publications. If you fold it into a paper-plane shape and then read only the words along the left wing-fold (and how significant is that, eh?) while standing under a very cold shower, its true purpose will be revealed.
