World Assembly Problems!

Postby Tunasai » Sun Jun 19, 2011 11:43 am

I was sent a telegram stating I violated a law passed by the WA. According to it they made me comply? I passed a law in my coutnry where the judical system judges morality and somehow I violated the Freedom of PRess law. What happened? I might just leave the WA

First of all, this probably belongs in Technical.

Second, everyone gets those whenever another resolution is passed. It has nothing to do with you answers to issues.

Who sent the telegram?

If it was sent by the system, you might have misread the telegram. One typical WA telegram is just to notify you of that the WA passed a resolution and that your nation's statistics have been modified accordingly to signify compliance. You can still answer issues any which way you choose.

If the telegram actually stated you were in violation of a law, the only type of that kind of telegram I can think of is the one telling you you're not allowed to have more than one nation in the WA. In that case, be careful to not use a computer to log into Nationstates which is also used by pothers to play the game. The game cannot tell who's behind the keyboard and has to assume it's all the same player.

However, if the telegram was sent by another nation, it sounds like a Roleplay thing. No comment from me in that case, I tend to ignore RPs myself.
