The World Assembly:
1. OUTRAGED that "Dignified End-of-Life Choices" does not involve international relations, and is merely forcing a law upon the nations of the World Assembly and their people.
2a. While NOTICING that many nations are very religious; some by traditional practice, some even by law.
2b. And ACKNOWLEDGING that "Dignified End-of-Life Choices" infringes upon any nations' religious beliefs involving the preservation of life.
3a. NOTING that "Dignified End of Life Choices" states, as quoted:
"This resolution shall not preclude a nation from enacting an assisted suicide law that is less or more restrictive than this resolution, so long as said law complies with Sections 4 (D) and 4 (E)."
3b. NOTICING that this allows for heavy restrictions on euthanasia, which could be taken advantage of by member nations.
3c. REALISING that point 3a essentially renders the majority of the resolution moot.
The World Assembly hereby repeals "Dignified End of Life Choices".
