I NEED EVERYONES HELP !!!!!!!!
Communities of Flat Rock, Higdon, Jackson and Dekalb Counties in Alabama NE corner of Alabama I am beginning to worry, 1st FEMA office to open Monday, 100+ miles away. People here are out of gasoline, living in cars and homemade tents, emergency food assistance approved for 1st 8 counties declared disasters, what about the other 34, during Katrina New Orleans screamed when they didn't get help for three days been 11 now and no help in sight, we lost 22 in our small community. (about 5% of the population) Guess it's because we're not as versed in hollering for the dole as some. We don't want anything more than survival, there is no Red Cross presence, no FEMA, there are people here who desperately need help!!! Help me get the word out please!!! There have been no news crews up here yet, no exposure. I realize we are a rural area, but people need to realize we have no phones in most cases, no power in much of the area, and if you can't buy gasoline to travel to a hot spot no internet. Hard to scream for help with no "voice". I am asking all my FB friends to help me raise some noise, most people don't have computers or internet, we are that far out in the country. I am watching people slowly lose hope, after already losing thier homes, possessions and family members, and it is becoming very dangerous here. Looting beginning to be more commonplace."
God lets hope Blackwater isn't called in and starts assassinating common folk again like they did after hurricane Katrina. And no I'm not going to hold your little Liberal hands and show you everything. It's called working for your information. Talking about the Cheney personal hit squad of course. Work-what a novel idea!
