(DRAFT) Global Disarmament Act

In the current format the bill denies self-defense to non-recognized nations and therefore is automatically endorsing all current government formats in a dictatorial way. Moreover, the people of Sudreich always had the right of gun ownership and retain the right for whatever the future might bring, so I cannot agree with this.

The WA can`t enforce a proposal to disarm nations. They can`t use force, to stop us from using force. This, like all other disarmament proposals, is toothless.

SECTION I

A1- All countries should enact tough laws on gun ownership

This article is 'Gun Control', not 'GlobaI Disarmament'.

A2- Countries which were torn apart by civil war must hand over all weapons to the WA to avoid further trouble

This article may be so selective in its applicability that it's illegal for that reason.

A3- The WA may choose any time to hand back weapons taken from countries

How will "the WA" make this decision?

SECTION II

B1- This resolution should not be used as an excuse by any government to start a war/civil war so the WA can confiscate their weapons.

Why on Earth should they want to?

B2- Should any government violate B1, the WA reserves the right to Condemn the respective government.

The WA would possess that right anyway, and it ability to 'Condemn' nations could not be restricted by any Resolution, so this clause is worthless.

If a nation is under civil war, this proposal would only apply to the STATE represented by the WA, meaning that non-state armed actors and foreign fighters could take over the country with impunity as their weapons were taken away.

Hmm. On reflection, the Holy Word may be willing to support this proposal. On its merits, naturally!

We would be willing to do the same. Provided we could actually find any merit whatsoever in this proposal, which we have not been able to.
