Postby Inspector Carmelita Fox » Sat Apr 21, 2018 8:09 pm

Discouraging the use of chemical weapons in warfare by blacklisting violating nations through trade sanctions, diplomatic withdrawal, military action, or refusal of future humanitarian aid;
Authorizing a timeline to restrict the number of chemical weapons in violating countries;
Penalizing violating countreis with chemical weapons if efforts to decrease chemical weapons in a reasonable timeline are not met;
Requesting humanitarian aid and efforts for victims of chemical warfare in major military conflicts when human standards are being violated.

OOC: Welcome to the World Assembly! Thank you for posting your draft in the forum before submitting it - that's the right way to do it, though not everyone realizes that at first.

Unfortunately, your draft is illegal for duplication and contradiction of GA Res. #272, Chemical Weapons Accord. Unless you can rewrite your resolution to cover some highly specific area of chemical weapons that that resolution doesn't sufficiently handle, I'm afraid this proposal can't be salvaged.

I hope you'll stick around a while and look at other players' drafts to get a sense of how things work and what areas of law still need to be filled. That way, your next idea will have a much greater chance of success.

Good luck, and again welcome to the World Assembly!

Chemical weapons need to be outlawed by the security council:
