Ixhua yawns. "First of all, it's "abolish," not "obolish." Second of all, seriously? My nation isn't even in the WA and I recognize that this will never pass. The ones that don't like vagrants will vote against because it demands government-run housing, and the softies will refuse to ban this in the first place. It's also a violation of a couple of pre-existing resolutions."

"In other words, this is a bad proposal. Scrap it and start anew."
This nation's views do not necessarily coincide with my own. Please assume all statements are IC unless specified otherwise.

The Naqin Ambassador is Ixhua of House Yavuas. She's extremely traditionalist, and is known to have her eye on the Presidency for when President Dratan retires.

Essu Beti is my puppet, in theory. In actuality I use Essu Beti as more or less my default these days even though this account came first.

Understanding the need to protect the people as much as humanly possible.

The World Assembly hereby decrees.
i. Bans any persons from sleeping on the streets.
ii. Demands government fund housing programs.
iii. Homelessness is not be allowed.
iv. Officials must make alternative housing.
v. Housing may include temporary jail cells.
vi. Any persons can get a WA exemption permit if religion calls for it.
vii. Demanding mentally, disabled or psychiatric disturbed homeless be put in a treatment center.

1. What if the person is not homeless, just drunk?
2. You mean "governmened funded housing program?"
3. Defined homlessness...
4. I though point 2 covers this point by requiring housing programs?
5. You are repeating yourself... and shouldn't point 2 cover this, or are we criminalizing homelssness? In which case do we really need point 2?
6. What religion calls for being homeless? Or more specifically supports homelessness?
7. What's the difference between mentally and psychiatric? Actually this entire sentence makes no sense... maybe you'd want to say,

"Requiring that mentally and physically disabled people without permanent residence be placed in a treatment center until capable of supporting themselves..." or something along those lines.

We can't support this proposal nevermind fully understand it.

OOC:
Seriously though... you need to define what homelessness is. Does it mean owning a property, owning a tent, or is renting acceptable here? I'm also sensing a lot of contradictions in tone here. Are we trying to help the homeless, or punish them? Please consider the points, and fix them...
Eternally salty, quite tired, and perhaps looking for a brighter future.

World Assembly Resolution #344 Minimum Standard of Living Act
The General Assembly,

Defines the "minimum standard of living", for the purposes of this resolution, as the minimum levels of access to food and water, clothing, housing, sanitation, appropriate utilities, and appropriate transportation necessary for a person to remain reasonably healthy, safe and productive in a given member state;

Declares that each member state is required to guarantee a minimum standard of living to all inhabitants of that member state;
A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy; or, perhaps both. - James Madison.

Considering GAR#344 doesn't prevent homelessness in any real sense, you could continue to work on a resolution addressing the issue. You would need to make a more specific policy approach than the one enumerated here.

His Worshipfulness, the Most Unscrupulous, Plainly Deceitful, Dissembling, Strategicly Calculating Lord GA Secretariat, Authority on All Existence, Arbiter of Right, Toxic Globalist Dog, Dark Psychic Vampire, and Chief Populist Elitist!
