To: All Members of Cassadaigua’s NSCAA Basketball Teams
From: Rachel Crosby, President of the Cassadagan Collegiate Sports Association
Re: Code of Conduct

Congratulations on being selected to represent Cassadaigua in the upcoming NSCAA tournamemt. This is quite an honor, but we also understand that you will be seeing several distractions over the course of Conference Play, and then ultimately the tournament itself. Due to this, we have put together these rules of conduct. These are general rules, and your individual coaches may have more rules to go along with it.

1. Remember that representing Cassadaigua is a tremendous honor. Play in a dignified manner at all times.

2. Do not put academics on the back burner and do not try to convince your professors for special treatment. This could set you up for failure as a student, and possible CCSA-imposed sanctions on your learning institution.

3. Be respectful of the opposing nation at all times. This includes respecting their national anthem entirely while it is being played in the same manner that you respect your own.

4. Since you will be playing against predominantly men, remember that groups such as Male Equality Now will be watching, therefore there is to be no insulting the other gender just because they are male.

5. Please limit your time on Spacebook or other social networking sites while on the road. They can serve as a great distraction.

6. Respect and abide by the laws of all opposing nations when on the road. We will not come to your aid if you are arrested for doing something that might be illegal in another country that is legal in Cassadaigua.

7. Do not trash any hotel rooms. And we mean it this time, Grande Mountain University!

I think this should cover it. Your individual institutions or coaches likely have more rules to abide by. Remember, we didn’t have to agree to do this for you.

Good luck!

OOC: This RP should be awarded to Mais University only. If you are grading RPs and you don't have Mais University in your conference, ignore this post.

"Hey, Menared! You fucking ready?"
Coach Senelo's face was scrunched, as usual, like it had been squeezed by Vince McMahon himself. His face was in a continual state of pain, glaring down at life itself. His laser-beam eyes bore through anyone who looked at him. He always seemed - though now more than ever - as though he was actually hiding something behind his back, ready to whip it out and beat to death any fucker to cross his path the wrong way.
Chivura Menared's head had been down, his long hair covering his eyes. His mom always told him he needed a haircut, but he would never do it until the length was unbearable. He looked up now, hair flying backwards, tangling amongst each other as it settled back on top of his head. "Yeah," he croaked, voice scratchy, "I'm fine." It wasn't very convincing, but it got Coach Senelo to keep walking briskly and rather harshly towards his office. Then again, he wasn't likely to slow his pace if one of his men had been choking.
Chivura wasn't quite able to stable everyone's qualms. Eregis Ecoval knew something was wrong - he had known Chivura too long not to recognize the signs of despair and sadness. They shared lockers at home; Eregis had the perfect opportunity to lean over and softly talk to his friend without anyone really noticing. He leaned forward for his warm-up shirt, and as he did so softly said, "What's wrong?"
A cough escaped Chivura's lips. He was hoping to stay quiet, lay low, as long as he could, just to settle his stomach. But here was his best friend talking to him. "Uh, nothing." Another cough.
"Don't pull that bullshit. This is real, dude. You gotta tell me what's wrong. We can't fucking lose to a fucking team from Qazox just 'cause you're being - I don't know. Just tell me."
Chivura let his head sink again. "It's about Marici," he murmured.
"Huh? Can't hear you. C'mon."
"Marici! I can't fucking get her out of my fucking mind."
Eregis groaned harshly. "Well, fuck that shit, man. Who needs girls, right? We got a game to win."
"You have a girlfriend."
"That doesn't make a difference for what's happening right now."
As this conversation went on, Herasog Nunorey glanced over several times. He wished he had the courage to talk to Chivura, help him solve his problem. Except Herasog was shy, too shy, and self-conscious too. If only he weren't so fucking tall, he could lean his head down with the grace and compassion of Eregis. If his voice weren't lower than Death Valley, he might be able to whisper without being asked to repeat his words several times. He just wants to have a companion - no, he wants to be a companion. Next time, he's gonna talk to him. He's gonna talk to someone, at least. No more lonely pre-game locker room changings.

This is the first RP cutoff for the Octavian and Uniballer conferences. Please note that most of my cutoffs will not be this early in the day.

RCU sends basketball team to NSCAA 3
By Cam McBride, Assistant Sports Editor

All of you basketball fans here on campus at RCU, listen up! Are you tired of watching the Dragons domominate the same 11 conference opponents every season? This season, you can watch our #2 ranked RCU Dragons tear up a whole new set of teams in the NSCAA! Better yet, foreign teams. The RCU basketball team will be spending the next couple of months abroad, battling other teams from nations such as Newmanistan, Delaclava, and Qazox in a 30 game season and a chance to advance to the NSCAA tournament, similar to Cosumar's own CCSA tournaments. RCU, along with the other nine Top-10 ranked teams here in Cosumar have been selected to represent Cosumar in the third edition of the NSCAA.

"It's a huge honor to be selected by the CCSA to enter the 3rd NSCAA season.I think our accomplishments here in Cosumar have deemed as as good of a team as any to try our chances internationally. I am really looking forward to this season, it should be interesting. It will speak volumes about the quality of Cosumarite basketball. As a coach, I'm really looking forward to facing team's from basketball superpowers like Newmanistan" said RCU's Head Coach, Mick Augustine.

If proving their worth on the international scale is what RCU intends to do, they will have quite a challenge ahead of them. The Dragons will be competing in the Woodfield Conference, which already being hyped as one of the most talent-laden conferences in the NSCAA. RCU has been successful against international teams in other sports, their semifinals run in the 2nd season of NSCF being a testament to this. But can we do the same here? Let's take a look.

There are a few teams that stand out as potential problems. For example, Brighton College of Newmanistan, University of Qazox-Las Vitas, and Van der Veil University of Delaclava are the primary sources of concern for the RCU coaches. All three of these nations are no newcomers to the NSCAA (unlike Cosumar) and have the know-how and experience necessary to be a threat to RCU's goal of having a post-season. Another interesting squad in the conference is the Concord Heights Beauty School of Cassadiagua, one of the only predominantly female teams. Despite the difference of gender, the Cassadaiguans are known for their athleticism (and favorable appearance) and may pose a problem to RCU. The Dragons will play each of their 10 opponents three times, for a 30 game season.

Yeah, it'll be tough Dragons fans. Opinions concerning RCU's fate seem to be split. A publication hailing from Lycrabon predicted that we would finish near the top of Woodfield Conference, and unsurprisingly, that Lycrabon's Saltsville State would finish first. However, a supercomputer from Qazox by the name of HOLMES processed a plethora of statistics to simulate the season, and foresaw the Dragons failing to crack the top 3. Seeing how none of these teams have ever met before, it is nearly impossible to predict a champion at this point. But us fans and the players and coaches themselves are sure this will be a season full of triumphs and (hopefully) a tournament berth.

"I just don't see how it's possible for us to not succeed, ya know? This program is, well, we just used to winning. I don't give a damn what them media folks say 'bout some team from Newmanistan or nothin'. We know how good we are. We gonna show them over-hyped teams what's what!" said Center Byron Barton.

All of us at The Roaring Dragon are inclined to agree, albeit with better grammar than our friend Byron. RCU has won two consecutive CCSA championships. They're as good as a collegiate team can get here in Cosumar. They may not go undefeated and win the whole thing, but they'll certainly be a team to watch out for. There's simply too much going for them.

RCU has a valuable combination of talent and leadership. New recruits like Darren Silva and Sebastian Argo and Heath Ramsey will prove valuable coming off the bench as freshman.. Seniors Montrell Carter and Xander Unitor are both returning. Jace Redd was the best 3 point shooter in the CCSA last season while the team's leading scorer in Scandar Sweeney is returning as well. All 85 inches of hulking Byron Barton are returning to dominate the paint for the Dragons as well. With such a star-studded line-up it is hard to forsee the Dragons finishing lower than the top 3 or 4 of the Woodfield Conference.

The Dragons will get their first taste of international basketball tonight against Grimmstad-Ròtten Universiteit of Hakkland. This should be an easy opening win for the Dragons, as Grimmstad-Ròtten Universiteit is relatively unheard of andexpected to finish near the bottom of the conference. Moreover, it will be a home game for RCU and we all know how good the Dragons are at Capital Court. For their second game, however, the Dragons will have to travel to Lycrabon to meet up with Saltville State. This will be the Dragons' first real test of the season.

You can get live updates of the actions here at The Roaring Dragon Online or tune into CSBN at 8:00. Thank you for reading, and remember, Go Dragons!

CCU Wins 2 and Loses 1
CCU Did a great job in the past three days with their matches. They played hard to win 2. The only loss was by 2 verses Regalia University. The wins were verses Konsor Fief University which was 92-79 at the Chunnan's away. The other win was verses Rosemeadow City College with the score 67-74 once again an away game. So far, Chunnan only won at away games. They are currently ranked in 5th place in the Carry the 1 Conference. Here are some pictures from the three matches.

(OOC: This report will be a general report on all ten.)

The opening games have been played and Lycrabon's ten schools have had mixed results.

Northern Dinagat has started off 0-3 after being stomped by Newmanistan's Tundra Falls 98-63 and falling to Villanova-Charlotte 76-64. Against Tundra Falls, the Panthers were never in the game, falling behind early 32-7. VCU lead from start to finish, though a three point barrage in the final ninety seconds made it look better than it was. A desperation three fell short against Concord heights, but that would have forced overtime, as the Panthers fell 86-83.

North Magootz and Fair haven both started off 1-2 in different fashions.

The Lions have had three nailbiters, but have only won one. The squeaked past Brattleboro 77-75, but were forced to foul late with both Portsham (86-81) and St. James (85-79) able to hit their foul shots.

Fair Haven has lost two close games, to Fairfield City (66-64) and St. Stephen's (71-67), but ran away with their game against Superdavetopia, 83-74.

Youngstown State, Lake Shore State, and Lakeview have not played any games yet.

Four squads are 2-1 so far: War College, Newcastle, Saltville State and Philipsburg State.

Lycrabon War College has had three blow outs: a 83-68 win over BC Negroe, a 77-69 win over Catherina, and an 84-52 asswhooping from Brattleboro Tech.

Newcastle has won a blowout agaist St. Jon's Island, gotten destroyed by Newmanistan's Centralia Empire 85-50, and the Hurricanes won an instant classic against Western Carastoga 78-74.

Philipsburg State lost their most recent game to Laketown 70-66, but the Gorillas defeated Arana State 79-65, and won on a buzzer-beater over Starksville 80-78.

Saltville State's Dragons are leading their conference with a 2-1 record after victories over Brighton (75-68) nd Concord Heights Beauty School (79-75). They started the season on the short end of a 73-66 score against Grimstad-Rotten.

In a week or two, we'll have the leading scorers in Lycrabon.

For now, the top 10:
1. Saltville State
2. Philipsburg State
3. Newcastle
4. Lycrabon War College
5. North Magootz
6. Fair Haven State
7. Youngstown State
8. Lake Shore State
9. Lakeview
10. Northern Dinagat State

(OOC2: Due to not knowing how to do the symbol over the "o", Grimstad-Rotten's looks wrong. I'll learn that one.)

Postby Qazox » Thu Feb 24, 2011 2:53 pm

Yorkshire Univ. (OC) 0-3

UK 45-44--89

----
YU 39-37---76
LAT 56-55--111
----
YU 38-30--68
JSU 51-36--87

Yorkshire University, one of Qazox' better teams has not gotten off to a good start. Losing the home opener by 5, they started a road trip by being blown out by Les Alliés Tech, then bein soundly beaten by Jackson State. While ther are still 30 games left, an 0-3 start isn't a dead end, but will most likely hurt come at-large berth time.

Bruxen State Univ. (B11) 0-2
MU 56-38--94
BSU 30-31--61
----
KU 40-44--84
BSU 29-38--67

Bruxen State was the last Qazoxian team to be selected for the NSCAA. And it showed, getting blown out twice at home to open the season. Lester Ortis did manage a 30 point effort against Kaldukosk University, with 17 rebounds.

Univ. Qazox-Las Vitas (WC) 1-1
VU 37-40--77
UQLV 35-36--71
----
RCU 34-43--77
UQLV 51-39--90

Univ. of Qazox-Las Vitas split their opening home series, losing a nailbiter to V'hai and getting a strong 41pt night from Chris Irvin in the Wolves' 1st win.

Univ. South Qazox (GC) 0-2
GOU 42-34--76
USQ 25-41--66
----
CU 34-44--78
USQ 38-39--77

Mathew Nowacki missed a game-tying FT with 1.3 seconds left in the loss to Colden yesterday. Earlier in the week Grand Onluei took advantage of USQ's 29% shooting in the 1st half.

Gothika State Univ. (ASC) 2-0
BU 34-35--69
GSU 47-43--90
----
MU 38-33--71
GSU 36-40--76

Behind Hector Weick's 40, Gothika State dominated their home opener. In the 2nd game, a 3-pointer by Dean Mell with 9.3 seconds left gave the Warriors their 1st lead at 72-71 as they held on against Mangolana.

Porter College (OBC) 1-2
CFU 35-38--73
PC 36-36--72
----
PC 40-40--80
UG 37-44--81
----
PC 39-43--82
UC 36-25--61

Porter College should be 3-0. A missed FT with 4.2 seconds cost them their home opener and a 3-pointer from University of Gilley at the buzzer started them 0-2. But a 21 point crushing of Caroga seems to have the Lakemen back on track.

Univ. Gila-Iguana (EJC) 2-1
UWI 35-35--70
UGI 42-38--80
----
UGI 29-37--66
AU 31-37--68
----
UGI 43-38--81
EU 29-34--63

Gila-Iguana is not the best team from Qazox at the NSCAA, but they can hang with anybody. Only a missed FG with 5.3 seconds left at Arçon University is keeping thm from being 3-0. Michale Gomzalez has been the key, averaging 26.7 ppg; and 14.3 rpg.

Saint Nash University (RMC) 3-0
SNU 48-40--88
SC 27-38--65
----
UL 38-33--71
SNU 36-39--75
----
SNU 45-42--87
CNU 34-46--80

Saint Nash Univ., lead by Dennis Farber's triple-double (14pts,11 ass, 10 reb) against Stoneshore, have raced out to an 3-0 start and are looking like a team to contend for the RMC title.

University of Qazox-Pika City (PL) 2-1
QPC 35-42--77
SA 47-38--85
----
LCC 36-41--77
QPC 38-46--84
----
QPC 42-45--87
NWSF 36-39--75

After a tough loss on the road, The Fighting Pike, lead by the dyamic duo of Robert Grier and Robert Session (avg. 53.2 ppg so far); have recovered and are looking to get in the middle of the Pioneer League race.

QAZOX SUPER SIX
    Saint Nash (3-0) 29pts (4 1st-place)
    Gothika State (2-0) 24pts (1 1st-place)
    Gila-Iguana (2-1) 18pts
    Qazox-Pika City (2-1) 17pts
    Qazox-Las Vitas (2-0) 11pts
    Porter College (1-2) 6pts

Mangolana 1-1
Mangolana University the season one and one in their first ever college basketball season, has started out 1-1. After recieving a bye in their first set of matches, Mangolana opened there season with a 84–64 win over St. John's Island University. Forward John Dalbone led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds to earn himself his first ever double-double. Zack Smith also chipped in with 16 points and 4 assists. Mangolana Univesity for the most part dominated this game, leading 50-23 at the half. After all the whole first half of this game Mangolana played with their foot on the gas, constantly causing turnovers and scoring on the fast break. Then with victory in sight, the rampage slowly lifted their foot of the gas and was able to coast to a 20 point win over a much, or at least appereared to be, weaker team in St. John's Island University. Coach Johan was interviewed after the game and said, "We played better than I could have ever hoped. In our first ever game, this is a huge result for our team and hopefully we can play exactly like this for the rest of the season."

Game 2
Mangolana University has lost their first ever game, after being dominated by Gothika State University for the first 30 minutes of the game. At this point the Rampage were losing 64-49, and it seemed that all hope was lost. But then, freshman Zack Smith took over. "It just started going in, every three ball I shot somehow just managed to go in. In the last ten minutes of the game, Zack hit 6 three pointers to cut the lead to 2, 71-69, but with less than a minute left, the Rampage had to start fouling. And Gothika State University hit every one of there foul shots down the stretch to give them selves a 76-71 win over the rampage. "We played our hearts out and thats all that matters, we will come out next time, and hopefully we will win next time", which is what was quoted by coach Johan as he left the stadium following the defeat

Following are the current standings, and yes we know its early, but its never to early to see how your favorite time is currently doing.

Spitfyred1 University was utterly shocked by their disatrous performance in there first games. "Yes, our team has intelligent people in it, but we aren't nerds" cried one of their loyal supporters.

Azure Skies Conference:
Matchday 1 Scores
College of the Inferno Islands (Delaclava) 85–52 Spitfyred University (Spitfyred1)
C - Elmer Sklue (7'3) Senior 10ts
PF - Big Boi (7'1) Senior 15pts
SF - Adam Meway (6'8) Junior 8pts
SG - Cobe Brient (6'7) Freshman 15pts
PG - Jeanette Akenja-Nearing (Female 6'3) Freshman 4pts

Matchday 2 Scores
University of Braven (Stannge) 87–53 Spitfyred University (Spitfyred1)
C - Elmer Sklue 10pts
PF - Big Boi 10pts
SF - Adam Meway 10 pts
SG - Cobe Brient 21 pts
PG - Jeanette Akenja-Nearing 2pts

Matchday 3 Scores
Spitfyred University (Spitfyred1) 81–93 Glasshollow University (Sibirsky)
C - Elmer Sklue 20pts
PF - Big Boi 20 pts
SF - Adam Meway 10pts
SG - Cobe Brient 25pts
PG - Jeanette Akenja-Nearing 6pts

Coaches Tips- Although our first two games were piss-poor, the last game was decent. Sklue, Boi, and Brient seem to be scoring lots of points every game. Akenja-Nearing and Meway have not been scoring close to enough, they need to score more in the next few games. As a whole, the team has to improve on defense. They gave up way to many easy baskets, and the zone didn't work at all. Next week they will transition into man-to-man.

Sophomore point guard Ashley Stokes of Grande Mountain University, like many others that Cassadaigua has sent to the NSCAA tournament, and probably like many athletes from any nation looked down at her pile of books. Her 25-page One Big Island History paper was not writing itself and she really couldn’t get herself into writing it during the competition. Considering her options, she thought it made the most sense to email her professor. She began to write the message, but fortunately she saw that her professor, Dr. Stephanie Landers, had also logged onto Spacebook, the website in which she had spend the last two hours of her time on. Perfect, they can send instant messages.

Stokes:> Hey Dr. Landers?

Dr. Landers:> Yes, Ashley! How are you?! What country are you in right now?

Stokes:> I’m doing good. Right now were in Newmanistan, getting ready to play Jessicaville Law School.

Dr. Landers:> Newmanistan, wonderful! What wonderful insight you can provide to our One Big Island history class! And in Jessicaville which was once Amherst, there’s a ton of history there!

Stokes:> I suppose, but I just have to ask you if there is any way I can like, write less pages or have an extension?

Dr. Landers:> Less pages, Ashley? Don’t be silly, with you in Jessicaville if anything I should have you write more pages! lol

Stokes:> Yeah well modern day Jessicaville wasn’t really the topic you assigned.

Dr. Landers:> That is correct, but it used to be Amherst, and you can take the former Secristani slant.

Stokes:> Ok well can I just have an extension?

Dr. Landers:> Ashley, I have to be fair. I still expect the paper by the deadline. Really right now you are seeing things first hand and should have an easier time with this topic, and not a more difficult one.

Stokes:> Please, come on. Surely there is something I can do.

Dr. Landers:> Sorry, Ashley. No can do.

Stokes stops the conversation at this point, calls her professor a bitch and goes back to sending Ims to her friends instead. Ten minutes later, to Ashley’s surprise, Dr. Landers returns.

Dr. Landers:> Ashley, are you still there?

Stokes:> Yes, what?

Dr. Landers:> I’m sorry to have been so rude, I have got to thinking maybe you can do something. I really shouldn’t do this.

Stokes:> Really, sure, what is it?

Dr. Landers:> I think it’s fascinating that you are in Jessicaville, I haven’t been there since Newmanistan took it over. I was just thinking maybe there some souvenir items you can send me about that conflict. (She lists some items)

Stokes:> For an A and not writing the paper?

Dr. Landers:> Yes, no one will ever know.

Stokes:> Great idea! My pleasure!

North Klent Sports Journal

Villinova-Charlotte coach Casey Kirk was very shocked at how his team played. So were a lot of other people. There is a lot of reason to be shocked because the VCU team has signed 12 of the top players in the nation. Coach Kirk shook his head and commented,"I expect the team to play better than this our players should be housing on whoever we play, but hey at least they have learned that there is going to be competition." Even though Jon Albright led his team through the first 3 games averaging 22.4 points per a game it will be not enough to wake the sleeping powerhouse of Villiova Charlotte. The team is 1-2 but have 27 more games left. Alot expect North Klent to immediately start to win games and get back on track.

GOOD START FOR MOST

Pocono City-
We’re three games into the NSCAA season now for most participants, and we have seen a lot of high quality action. Many people feel that the collegiate game is better then the professional game since the younger players are playing for their future. This is true with Newmanistanians, absolutely, since our best young players usually go right to the ENBA instead of going the college route. So even more, the men wearing sky blue are out to prove themselves. Phil McDowell, the coach of the Newmanistan Rockets in the International Basketball Championships says he is watching closely, “This is obviously a tournament of importance. These men are not only representing Newmanistan, but they are representing the most accomplished IBC nation that has chosen to participate. That is the big motivating factor, but they also want to impress the ENBA clubs as much as they can.”

The players are also excited about traveling to other countries. So far, Newmanistanian teams, by virtue of being a consistent “7" (with one exception) on the schedule, have played at home in all their games so far. Actually, even our “8" has only been home as well. For now, then the cities have opened up to seeing the players of the other teams, and there have been several examples where you could see them really trying to learn as much as they can. A source in Jessicaville for example reported that Cassadaigua’s Ashley Stokes seemed to have “an uncanny interest in learning about the Newmanistanian annexation of Amherst and purchased some relics in which she wanted to take back home with her.” The source went on, “It was really fascinating and wonderful to see a young player like that really showing so much of an interest to learn.” Of course, why was Stokes in Jessicaville in the first place? If she plays for Grande Mountain University, she’s playing Emperor Justin I University and never playing Jessicaville Law School in conference play. Fortunately, EJIU isn’t that far from Jessicaville, so I guess she’s just making a special trip. Will Newmanistanian players be the same way? Absolutely. Just ask Tony Lombardi of Brighton College. “We get to go Concord Heights Beauty School. Need I say more?!” Lombardi said with a laugh, “In all serious as fun as that will be, we get to go to Delaclava and Virabia and see both sides of the Cup of Harmony, and also go to Cosumar and Lycrabon, plus the longstanding rivalry with Qazox will make that a neat destination. This is all quite cool. I never would have imagined this when I went to BC!”

Indeed, now let’s briefly see how our teams are doing.

University of Southport: The world runners up in NSCAA 1 need a wake up call. Belden University of Sibirsky and University of Klyde from Cosumar may be good programs, but U Southport didn’t just lose to them, they whooped. At 1-2 though, the Octavius Conference schools can’t just forget about them!

Loudon Empire University: LEU has asserted themselves as the team to beat, which most should have had them as at the beginning anyway. Said guard Dustin Cassidy, “We’re just gettin’ warmed up.” We can win this whole thing. At 3-0, they do look good.

University of Tundra Falls: UTF sits just behind three undefeated teams in the Big 11 Conference with a record of 2-1. Cassadaigua’s University of Concord Heights is probably the team to beat here, but don’t count out UTF, who’s two wins were by 28 and 35 points. Guard Rick Anderwell told us, “That Dagan school is good. But we got da Spirits.” Don’t mess with the Spirits.

Brighton College: The smallest Newmanistanian school in the competition is doing quite well, with a record of 2-1, sharing the lead with five others, none of which are the Beauty School. The Woodfield Conference has the early looks of a wide open group, but like we said, it’s early!!

Fairfield City University: The school that seems to get lost in the shuffle of Newmanistanian programs, but you always know they’re going to be good year after year. They are showing that in the NSCAA with a 3-0 record to kick off the season with. None of them were easy wins, but as center Jason Newton says, “Close wins breed character. Blowout wins breed overconfidence.” He is a philosophy major, by the way.

Centralia Empite: A sharp 2-1 with the one loss certainly very respectable to a good Glasshollow University of Sibirsky. They rebounded well from that with a 35-point romp of Lycrabon’s Newcastle University. “Moving along well, but a long way to go,” said forward Isaac Paddock, who scored 21 points exactly in all three games.

Pock City Tech: Somehow, this “7" has ended up with a road game, and has also just played twice. They are 1-1 early in the competition. “A little confusion set in, but we’ll be fine.”
said guard Tom Parker.

Southport Naval Academy: Has also just played two games, and the Sailors are sharp with a 2-0 record, including a 40-point blowout victory of Virabia’s Charleston. “Representing Newmanistan is a great honor,” said Center Evan Whitehurst, “representing Newmanistan and kick some ass while we do it is an even greater honor.”

Emperor Justin I University: The school was handed a different schedule by a member of the Delaclav media in advance, and has been able to adapt accordingly. It’s a 3-0 record with two of those wins coming on the road. “The notification was ample and we had plenty of time to rearrange our travel schedule,” said coach Ivan Brown, “The kids took it in stride and laughed about it, and I think that great chemistry showed in the way we played out there. We did all the little things you need to do. 3-0 is a great start.”

Jessicaville Law School: The most interesting of our entries given that this is the former Amherst Law School of Secristan, renamed with our occupation of the land. Aspiring Prosecutor Joseph M. Greenthal, also a shooting guard, told us, “We’re doing it for the school. We have a history in this competition and that’s a history of success. We’re learning what it is to be a Newmanistanian, and still are adjusting, but this is all for the school!” The Lawyers are 3-0.

Coaches Tips- On matchday six, the entire team stepped up. Akenja-Nearing really played well, scoring ten points. She really needs to score more every game. The team depends on her for more then assists, they are dependent on her. Meway also needs to score more. As a small forward he is expected to score at least fifteen points per game. At this time he is just not there. Sklue and Boi have been big rocks for the team. They are always scoring a lot of points, and are really helping with rebounding. Both truely need to improve their defense. Their blocks statistics are rather low. Brient is still scoring lots of points. Cobe needs to work on passing, he is taking to many stupid shots. (Rather like Ron Artest in the play-offs) If the team can continue to improve defense, they will be able to win more games.
